I had contact with some guy named Johnny Randle; I’m assuming he’s the gym owner. The man is a real piece of work. He was selling some old weight plates during the start of the pandemic. I drove 30 min to come check them out and likely buy them at a time he said he’d be at the gym, but he was not there and did not respond in the 20 minutes I waited. He then cussed me out with his second-grade grammar when I contacted him again through OfferUp. I find funny that he called me a “cheap idiot” and said that I was not a “die hard weight guy like my guys I deal with” (I think this comment accurately reflects his mentality). Regardless, I ended up buying weight plates from other sellers (for cheaper).Don’t even know if this place is still open (it looked like it was on the brink of collapse ~2 years ago), but thought I’d share my perspective to hopefully deter anyone from going to this gym if it’s still somehow open.
