Very disappointed. I went in to make a pretty large purchase and most likely their biggest single transaction of the day. When the Cashier couldn’t completely fulfill the transaction; due to lack of training and we needed the Manager to complete it, I was literally skipped.Initially the transaction was $20+ and would’ve been $300+ before it was finalized. Here’s the rub:We had to wait ten minutes; at least, for the Manager to come up front. Since I was heading to work immediately afterwards, my patience was beginning to grow thin. Another customer walked in, walked straight to the counter and requested a tobacco product.I’m still waiting for the Manager at this point.The Cashier literally suspended my transaction; again it would’ve totaled $300+, and rang up the customer behind me for $1.06. Start to finish, that whole transaction didn’t take a whole minute.It was at this point that I had to give up the waiting and just go, wasting my time and efforts in the process.Does this establishment value its employees time more than its customers time?Maybe total volume of sales per hour is more important than income per hour?Having been so disrespected, I just can’t justify going back into this store.It’ll be inconvenient; somewhat, to use another retailer, but that was simply a complete and utter disrespect for myself and my time!

If your in Baytown Texas, don't stop by are even waste your time and money at any of the family dollar's that's in the area. They never have anything, they are always waiting for a delivery truck to show up, are the warehouse didn't ship the items. There's always a excuse for something going wrong. They are always blaming it on the other person. It's always the blame game. When there low on cash they will put the credit card reader out of service. The Internet is always down and are running very very slow. All the family dollar's in the city of Baytown Texas are very old and out dated and most of them smell bad and have no A/C. Are if they due have a/c they will blame the corporate office for not turning it on like folks are crazy and surpost to believe them lies.Every store that, Howard Levine/ CEO AND PRESIDENT of family dollar's has built has they own air conditioning thermostat. The employees really hate to turn the air conditioning on. Theses stores really need a major make over.

Always lovely service when I go in. They always have everything I need when I'm not in the mood to go to the big stores. It's starting to get nicer inside compared to a few years ago too. Great manager and team.

I come here a lot! I dont why I just do.. They need some floor help to keep these shelves properly stocked. I can say that the employees are always nice to me. Store a lil junky. Easy in and out. Plenty of parking
