“There are new changes coming soon! As of 1/25/20, there is NO LONGER A CLOTHES DEPT!!To make up for it, which I did not really mind because it was always a mess, the store will now have a bigger card section and balloons. So it seems like it... we will have to wait for the finished product ?”

“Most Dollar General stores I’ve been to in the area have been very disorganized and dirty. This specific location is clean and well stocked with excellent customer service. The manager for this store has raised the standard for what I come to expect. I hope this spreads to the other Dollar generals.”
“Besides the bums hanging around constantly asking for spare change, the place isn't too bad. Got decent selection. Sells beer tobacco also. People are friendly most of the time. Also, to show the humane side of some of the workers there, there was a dead kitten in front of the door. I let them know, the girl found a old shoe box, a bag, and gave the cat a proper burial. I mean damn people there was a trash can there but she went and dug a hole and buried it. You got my business for life for showing some damn compassion.”

“Most Dollar Generals are messy with rude service. Not this one. The male employee is friendly and happy to help. The manager is great too. She cares about her customers. “It was well stocked.on crafts...now items are $1.25...Can't beat the card section though..Hallmark cards ..some even 2 for a dollar. Good variety on cards.Register lady polite. There was a line. Only 1 person on register...line moved rather quickly..”

“This DG store is far out of the way for me, and I have to drive nearly 20 miles to get there. Still, it's worth it! While most DG stores are messy and disorganized, this one is always well-stocked and well-organized. Everything is easy to find and where it's supposed to be. Also, the employees here are always friendly, and their customer service is excellent. I will not shop at any other DG store. I highly recommend the Beach City location.”

“The Family Dollar close to my house is always clean and organized. It is so nice to be able to just go in the store, pick up your needed items and check out. I definitely appreciate the employees, plus I gladly recommend this store.”
“While I personally hate "dollar stores" due to their misleading name and front of being a discount store, this location has been clutch many times for random things. I have gone here late in the evening to pick up children's chewable Motrin and Tylenol when my kids were sick as well as shampoo and conditioner when we ran out. With this location being open until 10pm, it has been an object of convenience many times. I am willing to pay up to 25% more for items if it means a quick trip here vs. a much longer drive to HEB or Walmart. The staff here are generally polite and helpful. The selection of necessities is very good, but sometimes it is fun to wander around looking for things I didn't know I "needed". Don't expect a bargain, basically ever, however their sales are very good if you time things right and look for coupons (which I don't). I would definitely miss this store if it were to close like the other one that was close by.”
“Love the manager there. Had a discount sale today. And I got checked out and lots of my stuff didn't get the discount. I didnt notice until I was home so I went back and she took care of everything with a beautiful smile and great attitude. Her store looks great and she's always so friendly and in a great mood.
