“I haven't been to a Hobby Lobby in so long so when I was in Baytown and had a few minutes to spare I was so excited to finally be able to finally get to go inside this store!!! (Felt weird though, the first Big Lots I had ever been to was with my grandma when I was a kid in Michigan, then. Fast forward 30 yrs, we have been to everyone since then together but I had to do this one alone and it made me sad but happy to get to think about her when I was shopping today! God bless y'all, enjoy the little moments with each other and thank God for every one of them!!!! Thankful to have gotten a chance to not only bring up some great memories but enjoy one of my favorite stores!!! Got some good deals on some shampoos and conditioner, probably enough for the next year!!”
“Very friendly very clean have lots of things I would use in. My ho r give as a gift beautiful Hallmark cards for ever occasion I like the one on Garth in Baytown Tx kept and organize very well I will shop there as much as I can r in the area Ann Street”
“There are new changes coming soon! As of 1/25/20, there is NO LONGER A CLOTHES DEPT!!To make up for it, which I did not really mind because it was always a mess, the store will now have a bigger card section and balloons. So it seems like it... we will have to wait for the finished product ?”
“Most Dollar General stores I’ve been to in the area have been very disorganized and dirty. This specific location is clean and well stocked with excellent customer service. The manager for this store has raised the standard for what I come to expect. I hope this spreads to the other Dollar generals.”
“Most Dollar Generals are messy with rude service. Not this one. The male employee is friendly and happy to help. The manager is great too. She cares about her customers. I have a DG by my house (Garth and Decker), but I drive farther to come to this one because that one is trash. Thanks guys for making my shopping experience pleasurable instead of stressful.”

“The Family Dollar close to my house is always clean and organized. It is so nice to be able to just go in the store, pick up your needed items and check out. I definitely appreciate the employees, plus I gladly recommend this store.”
“While I personally hate "dollar stores" due to their misleading name and front of being a discount store, this location has been clutch many times for random things. I have gone here late in the evening to pick up children's chewable Motrin and Tylenol when my kids were sick as well as shampoo and conditioner when we ran out. With this location being open until 10pm, it has been an object of convenience many times. I am willing to pay up to 25% more for items if it means a quick trip here vs. a much longer drive to HEB or Walmart. The staff here are generally polite and helpful. The selection of necessities is very good, but sometimes it is fun to wander around looking for things I didn't know I "needed". Don't expect a bargain, basically ever, however their sales are very good if you time things right and look for coupons (which I don't). I would definitely miss this store if it were to close like the other one that was close by.”
“Decent prices and nice people. They let me walk in 15 minutes before closing for necessities and didn't rush me. I made sure to check out before closing but they were friendly regardless.”
“Love the manager there. Had a discount sale today. And I got checked out and lots of my stuff didn't get the discount. I didnt notice until I was home so I went back and she took care of everything with a beautiful smile and great attitude. Her store looks great and she's always so friendly and in a great mood. “This DG store is far out of the way for me, and I have to drive nearly 20 miles to get there. Still, it's worth it! While most DG stores are messy and disorganized, this one is always well-stocked and well-organized. Everything is easy to find and where it's supposed to be. Also, the employees here are always friendly, and their customer service is excellent. I will not shop at any other DG store. I highly recommend the Beach City location.”

“Clean store with a variety of items. Most of the time I go in just for 1 or 2 items and leave with a basket full!!! The workers are friendly which is a nice change from the past experience I had shopping here. The only thing that is a con is the prices keep going up when some of their items should be like the standard dollar store price but other than that I love shopping here.”
