I walked in to change my name on my account after getting married, and it was so easy! The manager was training a new employee, and I was still in and out quickly.

Frustrated and Disappointed: Chase Bank's Inadequate Service and Employee ShortageIntroduction:My recent experiences with Chase Bank have left me deeply frustrated and disappointed due to their glaring lack of service and an alarming shortage of employees. From the need to schedule appointments for even the most basic tasks to the disheartening realization that their staff's hands are tied when it comes to problem resolution, the overall customer experience at Chase Bank has become synonymous with inconvenience.Appointment Dependency:The insistence on scheduling appointments for routine tasks is perhaps the most exasperating aspect of dealing with Chase Bank. Whether it's opening a new account or addressing a simple issue, customers are routinely directed to make an appointment. This unnecessary hurdle not only inconveniences clients but also highlights a systemic flaw in the bank's approach to customer service.Understaffing Woes:Chase Bank's persistent shortage of employees is painfully evident, particularly during busy hours when customers are left waiting in lengthy queues. This understaffing issue not only results in prolonged wait times but also negatively impacts the efficiency of the bank's operations. It's disheartening to witness a renowned financial institution struggling to provide adequate human resources to meet the demands of its clientele.Abandoned Customer Service:One of the most frustrating aspects of dealing with Chase Bank is the seeming helplessness of their employees. When approached for assistance, staff members often express an inability to address issues or provide solutions, leaving customers feeling abandoned and helpless. It's disconcerting to stand in line, only to be approached by an employee who can do little more than take basic information and then leave you to navigate the complexities on your own.Customer Neglect:Chase Bank's approach to customer service leaves much to be desired. Instead of fostering a supportive and customer-centric environment, the bank's current practices contribute to a sense of neglect. The gap between customer expectations and the bank's ability to meet those expectations is widening, and it's disheartening to witness the erosion of trust that results from such neglect. Conclusion:In conclusion, my recent interactions with Chase Bank have left me disillusioned and dissatisfied. The combination of appointment dependency, chronic understaffing, and a lack of empowered employees has transformed what was once a reliable institution into a frustrating experience. If Chase Bank wishes to retain its customer base and salvage its reputation, urgent attention must be given to rectifying these issues and restoring the customer-centric approach the bank was once known for. Until then, I am left contemplating a switch to a financial institution that values and prioritizes its customers' needs

This place is a complete joke. Went 3 times, 3 different days and all 3 times I was told it will be an hour because they only have 1 banker. There are 4 people just sitting there at their desks. I decided to wait, over an hour. I left. Don't waste your time at this place. Complete garbage!!!

This branch is horrible. The only time I’ve gotten good service is at the ATM. They tell you to make an appointment online then they don’t honor the appointment.

If you are a white person you better go somewhere else. I stood in line for 25 minutes and was never asked if they could help me. However, they did ask everyone else that came into that branch. I needed to wire something for the business account. It became a huge ordeal and the teller ended up coming to help me after 22 other customers were helped after me. The manager never came out of her cubicle to see what was going on. I will be closing our accounts and never using Chase again. No customer service whatsoever!

I went two times to open an account however I was disappointed with the customers service their personal workers have poor qualifications to complete the open account. Now I thinking to close my credit cards with this bank. I won't have any issues in the future and they're not available to resolve problems with.

THE WORST BANK I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!. This is the third time this has happened to me, when I go to make a deposit at an ATM the money is never available and it takes up to 2 days for it to be in my account, besides the drive true ATMs never work and there is always a long line to make any transaction in the bank. And the same thing happens in all the Baytown branches and some that I have visited in Houston. All the staff that work at the bank are very friendly and they serve you quickly, but the bank is not the same as before.

I wanted to bank with Chase and Baytown is their nearest location to me. I googled and found this location and also the one on Alexander drive. I was scared to come to this location because of the google rating. I went to the N. Alexander location only to be told they did not have a banker that could open my account and my sons teen account. So I took a chance and came to this location. The experience was absolutely amazing and Maria is a sweetheart of a person.

Absolutely trash. Employees can see the line almost out the door and only ONE teller will be available. WHILE TAKING FOREVER over 20 min with one costumer. While other employees are there but are apparently busy with other things while sitting at the teller window, if it’s that busy you would think they would put whatever paperwork they’re doing aside and help people get out the door, but no. People don’t have all day to be standing in line at the bank with available employees that aren’t helping.
