Bigstar? More like "Broken Promise Star."
I bought a truck from Bigstar with a noticeable dent that they promised to fix. Since then, I’ve been chasing them for months with no response. Multiple messages, and nothing but silence—just no follow-through.
Bigstar was quick to make promises, but when it’s time to deliver, they’re nowhere to be found. I attached a photo of the dent they ignored.
If this is how they handle customer service after the sale, I can only imagine what happens down the road. Save yourself the trouble—find a dealership that stands by its word.

They wanted to collect expenses for problems that the vehicle already had and even paying an insurance that supposedly covered these types of expenses and the seller Adolfo never showed his face to solve the problem, no one wants to be responsible for fixing the problems, if they can stay away from this Luhar, I recommend them.

This place is not a good dealership!!! I went up there concerning there promotion and they did not honor it.....talk about $90 down and %100 u will get approved no matter what your credit is....the salesman greg never reach out to me....i had to contact him and his manager Dexter.....only reach out when i reach out to him....and they couldnt help!! People know how there credit but if u promote a false advertisement and run people credit then it effect our points!!!! Yall know that promotion is false and yet yall still lie to people trying to get there service!!! Please stay away from this dealership its unfruitfull and have bad service!!

Great dealership to work with. I specifically liked how I didnt feel attacked by sharks when I walked up to the door. It is a small dealership that takes time with you vs being herded through a mega-dealership like cattle.

Went to this dealership hoping they could help me with my trade in. I expected something good since I bought two cars before. Unfortunately my credit was not good but the sales person never called me or even texted me to provide a clarification. Very disappointed!

I had a terrible experience at the service department at Big Star GMC service department. I brought my car in for a routine oil change and some minor maintenance, but what should have been a quick visit turned into a nightmare.
Once they got to my car, I was told it would take about an hour. Three hours later, I was told my vehicle had some engine problems. My vehicle was at the dealership for approximately 3-4 weeks. When I asked about the delay, the staff seemed disorganized and didn’t have any clear answers. I was also charged for the rental and they haven’t refunded my money.
When I finally received my car, I noticed the vehicle wasn’t washed, which hadn’t been an issue before (My prepaid plan included a car wash). I brought this to their attention, but they brushed it off, saying it was unrelated.
Overall, the lack of communication, poor service, and the additional problems caused by their work left me frustrated. I won’t be returning to Big Star GMC for any future services.

Vincent was exceptional to work with. He made the process extremely quick, easy and personal and will continue to work with him in the future.

Called for a quote and to schedule a service. Horrible customer service. I was hung up on twice and redirected at least 5 times with no help. They really need to audit the calls they receive.

This dealership needs to learn how to answer the phone. I've been trying to call . Took my truck already like three or four times for the check. Engine light charging. Pretty good money and still not fixed. Now I'm trying to call them back and don't answer the phone. Go straight to voicemail. Somebody needs to get a better phone in there or get somebody to answer the phone

Not a place to send your vehicle for any mechanical work. Took a my truck because I figured since it’s a GMC what better place to take than the actual GMC dealership. They got with the extended warranty company and told me them truck would be done in 2 weeks. It’s been longer than that so I went to the actual dealership and was told that the part is in back or and that they don’t have any idea when it will get there. I call the extended warranty and ask if there’s something I can do cause I don’t have transportation. And they told me that the dealership never told them that the part was in back order. So here I am with no transportation and no help from anyone. And my vehicle is still sitting at the dealership.

Damian was my sales rep for purchasing a vehicle.. don’t really recommend him. The vehicle I purchased was a 50k car. Upon doing the walk around, I found a few paint chips and windshield repairs that needed to be done, was promised I would have this repaired. I also found that the car had a dent on the side, but was not advertised with a dent on the car, nor on the CARFAX. Damian said the odds would be very low to have it fixed. It’s a simple paintless dent removal that should be honored due to the fact it was not listed with dents on their site. Contacting the direct office has been very difficult; I call the office sales, repair and all numbers listed and cannot seem to get thru. It appears I can’t even seem to coordinate the repairs I was promised because of this! I’m hoping for a resolution. Someone please please please contact and resolve this issue.
Update: I was able to speak to the manager after days worth of texting the sales rep in request in getting ahold of the manager, and finally discussed options for the dent in the side. We discovered the dealership had service outages due to inclement weather. I am still hoping for the best resolution.
Update. I picked up my car after a week of trying to get updates, and did not have a satisfying reaction when i picked it up. It’s very hard to reach anyone here, and the sales rep acted very carelessly the entire process. He was never informed of anything and would shrug saying he doesn’t know.They replaced my windshield but used an aftermarket one, so they do not put OEM ones. They left the entire interior very dirty when doing repairs—they could have at least wiped it down. They did pop out the dent but not entirely. The paint was very very poorly done. There was cat prints all over the car, so they take bad care of your cars. It had more mileage than when I dropped it off. One of my PSI tires was also low at pick up! The sales rep asked me when I would pick it up, and said he would put gas in it. Knowing that I was coming, they should have took care of the mentioned issues. They do not give complimentary washes.
The experience was very frustrating, and I tried to keep a positive attitude the entire process. I would definitely say Damian needs to be more informed in any process during cases like this, and have better communication with management , customers, and repair guys.it seems like he made the sale and suddenly became careless. I wish I would have had a different sales guy get the commission instead. I understand he’s young, but he’s in a business where people need answers, and require customer service.
I won’t be purchasing from here again. I attached some pics, not all, but I had already tried to dust off the car, when I realized I should have pictures to update my review. But here you go, just for an idea.
I only have it 2 stars cus the manager was cool and understanding the one time I talked to him.

Horrible maintenance service, I have a 2024 GMC Acadia AT4, it has only been purchased for 1 month and it has already started to have problems with the left light, I spoke to the dealer and they asked me to leave the car for 3 days, I asked them if they would give me any car rent and they tell me no, how am I going to leave them a car for x days when I have to pick up and take my son to school every day. I talk to them to give me solutions and they only give me problems, horrible, cancel all the warranties I bought with them, total theft

Scheduled an appointment to have my ac repaired. They’ve had it for 2 1/2 days. Can’t get an answer by phone. Only told it hasn’t been diagnosed yet. Had to drive down there for answers. Was told we should know something in a couple of hours. When I first walked in to get answers in person and told them they have had my truck for 2 full days. They said only 2 days. That just set wrong with me. Just due to the service department I will never buy a vehicle from them again
