Dr. Lipps and her wonderful staff are so caring for all our animals. I would recommend Archer Road Clinic to be the best.

This used to be a great Vet for both my dogs. They sure did disappoint me this past week.

I went in to bring in my elderly dog for his yearly vaccinations on Friday. It was our first time there and it will be our last. The receptionist and vet technicians were the only good thing about my experience. The veterinarian there was unprofessional and passive aggressive. Before examining and vaccinating my dog, she informed me about Heart worms and the preventative medication for that. This was optional to get and I had declined due to finances. She persisted on my dog being on it as she stated numerous times to me, “That dog is going to die if he’s not on the medication!” I brought up my concerns for my dog’s recent repetitive cough and she then exclaims, “It’s probably the heart worms!” I found it very unprofessional of her to practically claim he’s going to die and diagnose him with something without examining him first. Afterwards she began the exam and gave him his shots. Unfortunately, she is the only veterinarian there so we won’t be coming back.

I am sure there are many good veterinarians but Doctor Lipps is my doctor of choice. I feel that the employees care as much about my animals as they do their own.

Sorry to say we will not be recommending this vet to our worse enemys. Dr. Lipps has no compassion for working class canines. My wife and I were treated very unprofessional after being patients of Dr. blessman for years. We were soooo sad to see Dr. Blessman had left and the staff is almost all new people. They seem to be on the declined as she will not accept new patients and is running the ones she has off. Please save yourself the trouble and look for a real vet!!

God bless Dr. Lipps and the Technicians! My little 2lb sassy chihuahua came down very ill over the night Wednesday and by Thursday morning I knew something was wrong! She would not eat, she was vomiting everything up, and breathing raspy. I rushed her into the office apologizing about not having an appointment but that my little girl was very sick, they took no time to waste and brought her back and did an exam on her. They kept her throughout the day to watch over her and provide IV fluid while I was at work. The same night she started showing improving signs. This morning (Friday) she is about 85% better! She's going in today so they can give her 1 more round of IV and so they can keep an eye on her. I know by tomorrow she will be 95%-100% due to their attentiveness and care!!

My pets have been seen in this clinic since 2007. The staff is always friendly and sweet to our pups. The vet is also very attentive to any concerns and treats our pets kindly and gently. The price we pay for vaccines and wellness of our dogs are reasonable compared to other vets around.

I've taken my animals there for more than 15 years (I have one dog and 10 cats at the moment). I love the people there and I think they do excellent work.

Called to ask for an appointment, says they weren't accepting new patients. I asked for clarification if they had any appointments and she just says they have 1 doctor so not taking new patients, not that they didn't have any appointments. Reevaluate your priorities as a veterinary clinic, or close your doors completely.

Called to try to get a vet to see a sick mother cat and her kitten that was sneezing a lot. Person that answered the phone asked if I was an existing patient. When I told her I was not, she informed me that they were not taking any new patients. I guess they didn’t care about new patients. We have been using another vet across town, but after moving to Baytown, we wanted to find a veterinarian here close. I guess it will not be them.

I brought my westie, Chloe, in on Monday with severe gastrointestinal problems. Dr. Blessman took her and literally made her better in less than a week! She is almost back to her playful lovie self! I am so thankful for the care the staff and Dr Blessman gave her while she was in their care. I love them forever! I recommend Archer Road Animal Hospital highly. They treated Chloe as their own. Thank you all! God bless.

So sweet with my Lola girl. Miss thang gets a little nervous and just needs to see her momma, and they recognized that and made sure she could. Every single person in this office is so kind. Recommend them to anyone!
