The owner, Bobby, allows for an unsafe environment within the salon and rented spaces in the back of the building. She witnessed the intimidation and harassment of one of her renter‘s (Mana) by an irate husband of a client and refused to ask him to leave. Bobby was informed of a disturbance taking place in the back rooms of the salon where in which a disgruntled man (the husband of a client of one of the back room renter‘s) had entered the building and began intimidating the renter. The renter was scared and shaking and requested that someone help her , explaining she did not want to be near the man who had been arguing with her for over an hour. The renter was scolded by the owner Bobby. The renter’s clients requested that Bobby not allow the man back inside to confront the Renter again, but Bobby refused to protect the renter or the clients from future harassmen,threats or confrontations from the man . Furthermore, she admitted that she would continue to protect the aggressor and his wife as she felt they were justified in their actions. The renter was told by clients to file an information report or call with the police but without the support of the owner ,Bobby, the renter would struggle to criminally trespass the aggressors from entering the building again. Bobby let down her renter and allowed for a hostile and unsafe work and business environment with in the salon and refused to hear the request for ensured safety of the clients and employees within her building. she victim blamed and discouraged clients from attempting to protect the renter or request that the aggressors not be allowed to return into the building. This situation could have escalated to a way more serious incident and instead of protecting her renters, clients or future tenants by allowing them to seek help from law enforcement or to request that the aggressor be removed from the building , Bobby also became defensive and unprofessional toward concerned clients and the renter . This is very sad and completely irresponsible on the part of Bobby for not ensuring safety within her business .
