This place is WAY over priced! 10 x$3.99 limes pan dulce $1.49 a peace go to poco loco and they are $.99 each one. The meats are over priced too.

We decided to stop in here after seeing it next to the Bucc-ee's. The parking lot is a bit small so, I'm sure, on a busy day, it might be hard to park. The restaurant was closed so we could not eat there but the little mercado was open so we decided to stop inside and see what was there. It's a small market with a lot of different items like spices, desserts, meats and more. I was mainly interested in the dessert area but it had been picked clean when we arrived. The staff was already refilling it but not the cheesecake that looked like something I'd have. I didn't end up getting any flan or rice pudding because it was in the taller cups and didn't seem appealing. It's a nice market that might be worth a look if you're in the area. Maybe the restaurant will be open next time.

Mind you, I shop here often. So I was in the mood for homemade smash burgers, so I chose to skip HEB and get my ground beef here instead. I purchased 2lbs. of ground beef. I told the guy behind the counter what I wanted, and while he started getting the meat, I went to get some other items. I got home and noticed the gb was larger than normal, I blew it off and proceeded to make my burgers. It smelled good, and it looked good, but the meat was full of tendon, gristle, and tough stringy pieces. I WILL NEVER GROUND BEEF FROM THE STORE AGAUN. I'll make sure to keep my meat department at HEB. This was a huge disappointment, but my dogs Dax and Blade thought it was their birthday.

My sister and I shpped first, their Tortillas are the best in town. That is a guarantee. If you buy Tortillas you need to buy them here. Also the meat market has great prices on so many varieties of meat! Spiced this way and that. You could buy a different one each day for 2 weeks. I love everything I have tried so far and that is quite a few. Their vegetables are very nice. And the dried goods are a wonder to me. It is like going to Mexico to shop. Afterwards we ate in the restaurant and it was sooo good! We ate too much. The plates are huge. We shared one and after stuffing ourselves, we each took some home. And the price was very reasonable. We left very happy. Everyone in the store, employees and customers were very helpful. We even had our pictures taken like we were tourists ?? If you have not gone there yet, get over there, you are missing out!

Worst place I have ever been at rude cashier. She was rude and then tried to still my money by not giving me the right change. When I asked for my receipt is when she gave me the correct amount. So they wanna keep more of your money if you don't check and the food is just over price a and is just garbage. And this is how clean the whole kitchen is with a window open by the kitchen so flies and even bugs get inside wrost food service should shut them down.

Custermer services is the worst here just went there one of the cashiers was talking to one of the meat guys didn't want to check me out the other one was eating at te register got mad when I asked if she was open she checked me out without putting my groceries in the bag and walked away the worst ?
