I do not appreciate the pressure sales! Rude employee and a General Manager who truly doesn't care about his customers. I sent the following email to
[email protected] and the General Manager Colton Nusbaum at
[email protected] I never received a response to either email. Text of email follows: To whom it may concern, I visited your Bastrop Texas location on Wednesday, 12/11/24, at approximately 5pm. The employee at the entrance / payment area was exceptionally rude. The conversation went something like: Employee: Do you want to sign up for the Unlimited wash club? Me: No Employee: Why not? Me: I've been a member in the past and chose to discontinue the service. Employee: Why is that? Me: Because I chose to cancel it. Employee: Why is that? Me: I don't want to talk about it. Employee: Why is that? Me: How much for the Rookie car wash? --- Pause Employee: I thought you already knew. (Condescending tone.) Me: Do I have to leave or will you tell me how much the car wash is? --- Pause Me: Let me speak to your manager. We both walked to the office and was met by General Manager Colton Nusbaum. I explained the situation and that I just want a car wash and not a session of pressure sales for a service that I've already subscribed too and cancelled. That the employee was persistent and rude. Colton Nusbaum's response: He is just doing his job. Me: If you condone the harassment of your customers, then you (Colton) are the problem, and not him (the attendant). I requested his business card and am writing you today. My question is: 'Is this acceptable behavior for representatives of your company?' Please let me know. Based on your response, I will either continue to use your services or never return. I will be sure to pass along my experience and your response to my friends that are currently Wash Club members. They may wish to reconsider. We do have another car wash in Bastrop, where I have never been treated like this. Feel free to call me if you would like clarification. I await your response.

Hardly got my car clean. Big puddle of water all the way across the driveway as you leave. Left soap on the back of my car.

Every time I pay for MVP and they are trying to cram as many cars through as they can I end up getting the cheaper wash instead of the one I paid for and to make it worse my car has scratches that were not there before the wash smh just wash your cars yourselves if you value it

It was our first time at Club Car Wash, my wife and I love it, nice pre- spray, reach wash, and solid vacuum.
Not 5 stars bc, the brashes could be a bit longer to touch the side windows better.
Highly recommend.

Terrible customer service at location and over the phone to the corporate side. They don’t care if you come out not. My car was still dirty when I came out- and at the end of the wash something scratched up both sides of my car. Called to cancel and couldn’t even get a refund / much less an apology!!

Tried to pay for a carwash was asked if I want to be a member I said no thank you. Then asked why not I stated just don’t want one i thought that would be the end of that but no trying to get me sign up. I call to explain my experience to customer service and told to found another car wash.

Great car wash until the wash damages your vehicle then they do not want to fix it.

Beware, try to let the car in front of you build some distance. Went thru 2 days ago, and the manager signaled me in. I put the car in neutral and followed the instructions after he gave me the signal. I'm not sure what the guy in front of me did, but the car wash guided me right into the car in front of me.
The impact wasn't terrible, and to the untrained eye, it wouldn't have been detected. But there seems to be a misalignment of my front bumper.
Now I wait to see what the company does.
Car wash itself did an ok job.
I was disappointed that I had to go get the manager, and he didn't seem concerned when I walked up. It was almost like I was troubling him.
The manager stated that he did not have access to the video footage.

I decided to go for the VIP wash and this is the state of my tires. On top of that this "Armor All" flung all over the side of my car. I NEED TO GET A DETAIL NOW AFTER GETTING THIS CAR WASHED!?! Awful.

Put me too close in the car wash and I hit the person in front of me. I canceled my subscription but apparently it wasn't far enough from my recharge date that they charged me anyways and refused to refund me even though I refuse to drive through that place anymore. As embarrassing as it is I'm scared now to drive through.

I don't generally leave bad reviews even when warranted, but I feel like it is necessary this time. I wanted to have my car detailed, but my regular place was closed. So I decided to go to the Club Carwash on Hwy 71 in Bastrop (beside Texas Boot Company). First, I drove to where the attendants who take the money were standing and was treated to more attitude than was necessary because I had the nerve to ask questions. Then I paid $25 for the 'MVP' wash to basically drive my car thru an automated carwash that DID NOT clean my car. There were 2 attendants that sprayed my car with something that was supposed to loosen any bugs, etc. They literally rushed me past into the automated terminal. I wasn't allowed to stop in order for them to even spray my car effectively. Then, when I was thru the carwash, I pulled into a stall to dry and vacuum my car. My car was STILL filthy. So I used a few of the 'complimentary' towels to get as much dirt off as I could, and then I vacuumed my car. I was the last one there, and they were closing, so in my rush I left my passenger side floor mat hooked to the hanger. When I realized I had left it, I called customer service (who told me that the branches don't have landlines, so they would email them, and someone would call me back immediately). What?! That made absolutely no sense, but ok. TWO days later, there was still no callback, so I called again and was told the same thing. She ignored me completely when I said I was told the exact same thing TWO days ago, and maybe they don't truly understand what immediately means. AGAIN, no call back, so I drove 20 miles back to Club Carwash and went into the office (where I noticed 3 desk phones which would suggest they do in fact have a landline) and asked the guy if they picked up my mat. I was told they don't have a lost and found. Strange because Customer Service (I use that term lightly in this case because there is definitely NO customer service with this company) told me that every facility has a Lost and Found. Please, please, please DO NOT waste your money at Club Carwash...it is a joke and an entire waste of money! If Yelp didn't force me to leave at least 1 star, I would give this place a NEGATIVE 5 stars, and even that isn't low enough!!!
