Our new horse needed vet attention, and I also had questions regarding his health and overall proper care. I reached out to Bastrop Vet Hospital, and they assigned D. Rivera to make a visit to my property to check on our new horse.
I could not have been happier with the visit. For as knowledgeable as Dr. Rivera was regarding my horse, and the questions I had regarding his care, she also showed an organic passion for his well-being. I could tell she has a desire to care for equine and offered tremendous advice on his care and well-being moving forward. Her knowledge and understanding of my new pal gave me great confidence moving forward, and we put together a plan for future visits and an overall action plan for him.
Highly recommend her for your equine care!

THE best vet clinic I’ve ever used! From snake bites, to annual visits, “Daisy May Duck Dog Dugey” loved all at BVH and was the most loving place to have her euthanized. I am forever grateful!

I have been going to Bastrop Vet hospital for many years. I started seeing them after my vet at the time did not correctly diagnose or treat my dog. Daisy continued to have the same problem and receiving the same treatment, which was totally ineffective. I went to Bastrop Vet, and they correctly diagnosed her and prescribed a treatment that resolved her problem in a little over a month.
Daisy is 14 years now. I have to lift her in & out of the car, and she walks very slowly, but she is a tough little Corgi! When we finally made it through the door today, the receptionist said, “Ms E, I’ve already checked you in. You & Daisy just have a seat.” Nuff said.

The staff is friendly and caring from the beginning to the end of each visit. Gave my daughter a helping hand to get her dachshund and frenchie to their vet appt. The staff at the front desk are so patient and kind. Loche, the vet tech, was so knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Woehl is awesome and caring! Great vet clinic!

Dr Wall has been taking care of my beloved kitty cat GG Girl for over two years now. I can't thank her enough. She's genuinely cares and it reflects in her interaction with GG and myself. This facility is very clean and fair priced. All of the staff are wonderful as well! I highly recommend Bastrop Veterinary Hospital to anyone who wants their fur baby's to be well taken care of with love.

Their staff is very caring. They require appointments, but their answering message gives an option to press if it is an emergency. However, they were not available for an emergency on New Years Day.

We have been taking our pups here for 6+ years. Unfortunately those days came to an end yesterday. Their vet tech (refused to give name. Red hair. Male. Been there 3-4 months) beware of him. I’d be cautious leaving my animal near him. He’s a loose cannon. He screamed, cussed, and tried to fight my husband in the lobby at 7:30 am during surgery drop off with other families in there already emotional about their animals pending surgery. Due to him immediately being rude that we had requested a quick second peek by a Dr. Because some things had changed in the 2 days since we had scheduled the surgery. My question would have taken 2 seconds to answer and I was willing to wait till a Dr. had those 2 seconds.
Anyone who will loose their temper to such a degree in a room full of humans and distressed animals… there is no telling how they will treat innocent animals.
Honestly, the worst part is as I said our animals have been going here for 6+ years. I immediately called to speak with an owner. I was told owners aren’t in but I can talk to a manager at 10. My husband got home and sent an email to the owners explaining the situation and asked for one of them to call before the end of the day bc he knew they were busy with surgeries that day. They close at 6pm this happened at 7:30 am. - At 8pm I gave up hope that they even cared at all.
As a business owner myself if I showed up to work and my employees informed me what had happened and I had an email already sitting on my desk there is NO WAY I would not be contacting my long term loyal customer the second I had a chance. Let alone to call and check on my patient who was missing from the surgery room! Unbelievable. I have literally no words for this part.
To the manager: you can spare me your ChatGBT (fake) written response ? Ya you may have forgotten to remove the “chatGBT” from a few of your responses.

They took care of our family dog. Price wasn't too bad for an eye prolapse surgery. Spent$900 to remove his eye and medicine. Haku our dog is doing great and we love and recommend bastrop vet hospital!

Cost me an arm and a leg just to watch my baby kitty slowly die. They did let me pay out my bill payments. That's about the only good thing there.
