Yet again, this corporation has shown how little it cares about human beings. As is very common nowadays, the card we had on file with them was hacked so we had to close that card down and get a new one. And like a lot of people, we forgot to change all of our autopay accounts to the new card. Rather than notifying us immediately our payment did not go through, aqua was kind enough to wait until they sent a very threatening text message saying if payment is not received in a day your account will be locked and water will be shut off to your house. We are in Texas during summer with a child under a year old. How heartless can you be to be willing to simply shut off water without any prior notice of non-payment? And this is not the first time they have done something like this. It is very disheartening and unfortunate. Of course, we will pay for what we use and that is not the issue. It is the clear lack of conscience and compassion that is most troubling. This may seem like a small incident, but as indicative of their overall attitude.

Have been a member since the 80's. Reported a leak at the meter, this is the 3rd week. Meter going clockwise and counter clockwise. Flooded. Water leaking from street side of meter. Not from meter to the house. Have called 4 times. Even left a message with a manager this morning. She had just gone to a meeting at the time of my call. She nevet responded. I'm sure when they want to restrict our water usage this summer they will be quick though.

I’ve been a customer for 35 years. Water quality has been good and pressure good. But the last few years they have raised water pressure without any notification. My pressure has been as high as 102 psi. I was told by Aqua that it’s “normal”. Currently my pressure is at 82. Anything above 80 psi is not acceptable. Also was told that I have to install a pressure reducing valve (PRV) on my side of the meter. Aqua should be held responsible for helping with any PRV’s that is needing to be installed due to their pressure issues.

Old Water Meter #232157810 and this # does not coincide with the number on the bill. They said it was installed on 11/18/2023 said the bill was for 44 days the amount of water used was 35,287 gallons. There was no leak on my side. By the time I received the bill it was 63 days and the number was 0055653.55. They changed out the meter on 1/30/24 said they would send it off to be checked and the meter read at that time 0055875.65. I have been with Aqua Water for almost 13 years without a problem before this my monthly bill was approximately $35.00.

This company creates 2 separate accounts for regular water bill and fire service bill (running water test thru fire sprinklers).......Yet they have "no way to combine the bills to make it easier" for billing purposes. So we get 2 separate bills from the same company every month. When I tried to get auto pay set up for the Fire Service; the same as I have for the Water Bill........the company online system would not allow me to do so. When I talked to customer service about this, they said they would let their IT department know. So I asked how I could pay my Fire Service bill online or over the phone. They said they would be happy to do that but they would charge a $1.95 fee for the $7/month bill. They wanted to charge this fee, even though it was Their system that was not allowing me to pay online; a payment that does not charge a fee. Anyone else see an issue with this?

Poor customer service

Absolutely the worst customer service on planet earth! The water?... Plan on filters & a softener because not only is the water HARD but they are forever working on the lines so there is constantly dirt, clay, and or grit in the lines. They will attempt to levy your property at every opportunity including but not limited to initial installation, excessive usage such as a major leak. Anything resulting in a balance due.Just a bad outfit to have to do business with. They have no competition and they know it and it shows.?????

Crooks. Polonia water supply had charged us as high as $55 which we had no problem w/. Our normal bill use to be $40-$45 w/ polonia. Now our bill comes out to be $150+ w/ Aqua water. All of a sudden our water bill tripled! Something's got to give.

By far the worst water quality I've ever had on tap. Anyone who drinks this or gives it to their animals WILL HAVE health complications. It is terrible for your skin, inhaling the vapors in the shower is toxic (make sure to use a shower filter from amazon), it will kill plants if you don't let the EXCESS chlorine evaporate in sunlight before watering, AND WORST OF ALL it will destroy your brand new appliances without an expensive water softening system installed on your whole house. These people obviously have no regard for the health and safety of their customer base, and since they know they are most people's only option, they do the bare minimum to improve.
AQUA, if you are reading this, please do the right thing. Clean drinkable water is a need and therefor A RIGHT. Stop middle-manning toxic water and making out like bandits!~

I have used the laboratory a few times now, and they are really nice, knowledgeable, and give results quickly. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is because of the lab director. He doesn't make any sense when he tries to answer my questions, almost as if he has no idea what he is talking about. Luckily, there are 2 women that work there who are genuinely nice and are able to answer my questions. They seem to understand better than he does. I have even witnessed the women correcting his mistakes. But overall, this is a great place to take your samples.

Angie or Angela with ROW (right-of-way) is clearly not trained in customer service. She would not let me finish asking my question and kept cutting me off. She insisted that they were there to help me but would not even let me finish talking. She clearly loves the sound of her own voice since she does not want to hear what the customer has to say. I had to speak to another person just to be allowed to ask my question. Texas has legalized monopolies when it comes to utilities and unfortunately we are forced to work with companies that are not working to help us. Lip service is one thing but I use past behavior as a predictor of future actions. This interaction tells me they will be difficult to deal with in the future. I will be filing a complaint with PUC (public utility commission). I was initially quoted that my worst case scenario cost was 8k for a water meter. I now have found out that $8,700 is my best case scenario.
