My son has been going here for a few months for math tutoring, and it has been great. We have tried another place that wasn’t a fit for him at all, but he feels very comfortable here and is learning a lot and gaining confidence. The owner is kind and professional and knowledgeable. Great place!

All 3 of my children got behind in school because of covid and the school going to all virtual when it first started. They weren't where they needed to be going into 1st and 4th grade last school year. They only came to tutoring for 6 weeks but in that time they were able to get back where they should and beyond. Everything is super organized and runs smoothly. The details they provide with the diagnostic testing is amazing. My son came back this Summer because of low STAAR test results and is making great progress. I am so glad we found this place!

My daughter fell victim to the “covid slide”. We came to the Tutoring Center for an evaluation and my daughter loved every minute of it. They helped diagnose some areas for improvement and put a plan in place. She gets so excited and asks if she can go back everyday. I have already noticed her willingness to read for “fun” and work on homework without a struggle.

My 5 year old looks forward to going each week. They make it fun for her to learn and encourage with toys and other prizes. The communication from the director has always been very clear and organized. They are super easy to work with!

I can’t say enough about this place! We took our son in for the complementary assessment (bonus points right there) and found it to be spot on with what we and his teachers were seeing as his challenges. My son was very discouraged at first and not excited to be going, but came out of his first session with a big grin and a “That was kind of fun”. They keep the kids engaged and active by having them switch stations, which is especially great for kids that can’t sit still. And they do a great job with keeping parents informed. Definitely a 5-star operation!!!

Our daughter is going into her second month at The Tutoring Center, and the difference is amazing. Her confidence has improved and her grades are inching up. The director and tutors are wonderful!

On the first day of tutoring my daughter walked into her session stating that she, "didn't like math because it was boring", and walked out of that tutoring session and stated, "that she LOVED it". She was smiling and so excited to improve her math skills! A Mom couldn't ask for more after just one tutoring session!

I cannot say enough positive things about The Tutoring Center, Helen Young, Rachel, and the rest of the staff here. My 7th grade daughter began attending the center in December 2016 after struggling with retesting in school in multiple subjects. I can honestly say that I have seen a significant difference in her confidence as well as marked improvement in her reading comprehension, word decoding, vocabulary, and mathematical skills. Riley loves coming to her sessions each week and calls the center her "happy place." She will be finishing the school year with straight A's and an induction into NJHS. THANK YOU to all of those at the Tutoring Center for being a part of her success!
