“I was in Bandera, TX (from Arkansas) with my buddies recently to ride the Three Twisted Sisters. After the first days ride, I noticed an oil leak on my Harley Street Glide. Not wanting to waste a lot of time at the Harley dealer that was a good distance away, we did a quick Google search. The first result was Bandera Motorcycle & ATV Repair! I called and David said bring it on over and I’ll check it out. He checked it, found the issue and fixed it with great attention to detail and expertise! He was also super nice and a really cool guy! He also fixed my brother-in-law’s shifter issue the next day! We all highly recommend David and his shop! Thank you very much David! It was a pleasure meeting you and we were very thankful that you got us back on our ride quickly!”

“What do you do when you break down on the road? First of all, try getting your scooter into a shop. Good luck. Then, get out your wallet. Well, lemme tell ya. I rode to Bandera from PA. Bike started makin a God awful racket on the way. Rode into Bandera fully expecting to have to run up to Javelina to buy a bike. Short notice, tryna get your bike fixed or even looked at? So I try this local shop first. Ya never know, right? Man am I glad I did. The man heard my story and felt sorry for me. I went back to the hotel to wait. He threw the bike on the lift and called me in an hour. My bike was fixed 24 hrs later! Talk about service! Then the Price! Unbelievable! Half what I expected for emergency service! Can't give enough praise! Thanks again Bandera Motorcycle and ATV!”

Though very busy, “Victor” pulled some strings and immediately put my truck to work.The work was top notch, everyone was courteous and easy to work with them. “We are traveling with a pick up and fifth wheel and made a stop in Kerrville Tx for a couple weeks. Due to an oil leak we contacted Vincent’s and explained our situation. Nic got us in right away and they had our truck done a day earlier than expected. The truck required some engine work and was labor intensive but they still got it done quickly and everything is running great! We stay at a campground here every year and Vincent’s had been recommended to us a few years ago. We had minor work done during other times we were in town but this is the first time we had to get major work completed and they really came through for us! We highly recommend them!!”

Someone had side swiped the driver side of my Ru Outback messing up the front fender and deeply scraping the rear outside fender. Mark explained his repair strategy saying my Tri-pearl white paint color was tricky to match, requiring three layers, but he mixes his own paints on site with the original maker formula codes. His confidence put me at total ease. Dropped it off on Monday and picked it up the following Friday just as promised. Can't tell it was ever damaged or repainted. “I just have to share yet another fabulous experience with Main Street automotive in Bandera Texas. I’ll be honest… my trust in automotive shops was 0.0%, maybe even into the negative numbers. Definitely negative experiences.

As a short background, I had a Nissan Xterra that sat for nearly 2 years of my driveway, because no one in Bandera could seem to pinpoint what issues were. I even had one shop tell me to “drive it until the wheels fell off”, completely, disregarding the fact that this is my only transportation and my safety, and sometimes life, depend upon it.

When I totaled my Ranger, I had been so impressed with the work that Main Street had done on it, that I took a huge leap of faith and put the total money into repairing all the mystery ailments of the Xterra. As a surprise for me, the mystery ailments weren’t at all a surprise to Main Street and they fixed it beautifully.

I always get my oil changed there as they do a bumper-to-bumper review of everything and I’m telling you these people do not tell you you need something that you don’t. They will tell you if they see something that you can expect might need attention so you’re not blindsided, unlike the other auto shop. They care about my safety. They did me so right on my Xterra when I was just in the worst spot ever.

If you want an auto shop that you can honestly trust, I can’t recommend them enough.

If you live in Bandera, they are on 16 like you’re heading to Medina on your left across from K and M auto. They are open on weekdays. They have quite a number of bays so if you make an oil change appointment with you they get you done quick.

My Xterra has 222,000 miles on it. It’s running better today than when I bought it at 170,000 miles.
