“Cannot recommend this place enough - very honest business. I dropped my car off to have the A/C looked at. They called me and told me that they hadn’t found a leak in my A/C, but refilled the refrigerant and added dye so that if I continued to have issues they could better identify a leak. When I picked up my car, I found a huge dent in the side and no note. Benson’s was able to pull their security footage to identify the other customer who had hit me and contacted them to facilitate the exchange of insurance info. I’ve told all my friends and family to come here due to their above and beyond customer service.”

“Incredible service and excellent price. I gave the shop a call when I had noticed by tire pressure gauge turn on, and they told me to come in whenever, no appointment necessary. I’m not exaggerating when I say they had already begun working on my tire before I even stepped fully out of the car. I was in and out in 15 minutes and they fully repaired my tired that ended up having a screw in it. The gentlemen working were extremely friendly and offered me a place to sit and soda while I waited. They also checked the pressure on my other tires and added air. I’d recommend Barrera’s to anyone who asked. Important note though is that they’re cash only, which they will remind you if you call.”

“These guys are good and fair. I had a mysterious stink in my car and tried everything to get it out: sprays, vacuuming, scrubbing it with cleaner, car smell bombs, etc but nothing worked. These guys figured out the problem, fixed it, and the smell hasn't come back (it's been about 3 months).
If you want to know, the car smell issue was something I never would have thought of and will try to explain as best I can. Leaves, dirt, and gunk had gotten into my rainwater drainage intake on the outside of the car between the hood and the windshield, clogging it. This caused the rainwater to overflow, going into the air intake. There was a little pan in the bottom of the car to catch the condensation from the AC, but that was never meant to hold a bunch of rainwater so it quickly overflowed. There was so much mold under the floor of the car that they had to rip it all out, clean it and let the rest air dry for over a week before they were sure it was all gone.”

“Heading home from a beach vacation, we had a tire pressure sensor that wouldn't go off and a tire that wouldn't inflate past 30 PSI. We called this Discount Tire and pulled in 30 minutes later. Our family of four (plus dog) waited indoors just 52 minutes while they fixed the tire (removed nail, patched) for free!”

“Very friendly and helpful! My co-workers called Cortez because I had hit metal debris on my way to training and am not familiar with the Santa Fe area. The engine splashguard panel had been ripped by the debris so it was dragging underneath my car. Fernando quickly took time out of his day to check over my car and remove the hanging panel and let me know that no other damage was caused, so my car was safe to drive. I would definitely recommend them based on how they helped me in this situation alone. Saved my day!! Thank you, Fernando!”
“Tony is the man. My car was throwing a code, something with O2 sensors and system being lean. He couldn't figure it out. Probably the non-OEM O2's I installed. He cleared all the codes and told me to drive the car for about 60 miles and get it inspected. And it passed.”
