Management is incompetent. There were 2 screw major screw-ups on one order. The first screw-up was when I tried to purchase 10 bags of Organic Potting Soil for the listed price of $6.99/bag which I showed her a picture of to make it as easy as possible during checkout. The nice lady said they were actually $11.99. She spoke with management, and apparently, were unable to sell the bags for the listed price. I decided not purchase the 10 bags. The second screw-up was when I looked at the recipt and noticed they charged $57.99 per bag of weed and feed when the actual sticker price on the bag said $36.99. When I went back in the store for the refund they would not refund the difference!! Long story short and after I told the manager how lousy this was, and that this is not how to treat people, she "alllowed" me to take 1 extra bag to make up the difference. It really stinks because I don't need an extra bag. It was either that option or refund the entire purchase. I do not blame the nice people that work at the store but the incompetence of the management's inability to accurately price their items and effectively correct situations. If you do decide to shop at Russell's check your recipts to make sure you are being charge correctly.

I come here to Russell feed from time to time, but more often than not I leave here irritated. They either don't have what I want or the prices are so outrageous that I just pass. Today I came to buy some fertilizer that was marked $6.99 on the bag. When they rang it up it was $14.06. They refused to honor the price on the bag. This is the first problem of this type that I've had here, but it really irks me. I hope everyone reads this and watches what they are being charged at this store.

Awesome staff and wonderful selection, prices do tend to be a bit more on some brands in comparison to other stores, but you can’t beat the convenience of not leaving town ?!

Check your bags before they load you. I got home to find out a bag was cut tape and the corn spilled out when I lifted it out of the my truck. Manager states they open bags to show customers the product. It was cracked corn.. If they are selling open bags they should let people know prior to selling them and discount them like other places do. Not sell them as full bags.Maybe the manager is just clueless to what is going on in the back?

Small, older woman with long hair running the reception desk is very rude. Drive 45 minutes to pick up 2 bags of feed on hold but still needed to make sure they had them. Not one employee could tell me where to go to get my feed or who to talk to. Will continue going to the Russell’s in Decatur. Not impressed with the Azle location at all.

The older lady’s that work there are so helpful and sweet but the young girl I went too because I was next in line ignored me for two minutes straight. Before scanning my item, didn’t acknowledge me or say hello. I asked if I could put my number in and she acted like that was a problem. Didn’t even say have a good day or anything. I guess I’ll be ordering my dogs food online now. I try to support business in my area but obviously they don’t want it here it says sales rep 392. Maybe y’all might train the girl to work with clients better before losing more business.

Had a terrible experience at Atwoods and went down the road to Russell Feed and just like their Azle Location, the customer service is top tier! The prices are a little higher than that big competitor up the road, but that is because they properly train the people they hire and popular products are always well stocked. Russell Feed sets the Gold Standard in customer service.

Ordered 4 buff orphingtons from Russell's Feed store. 1 has feathers in its feet. Oviously not a Buff. 1 is so small dont think it is either. Called the store, they were supposed to call me back. Didnt Went to the store, big sign, NO EXCHANGES OR RETURNS ON ANIMALS.

Love love love Russell’s Feed Supply stores. The people are genuine and are always happy to lend a hand or offer assistance when they can. They have a good selection of animal needs, but I mainly come here for the dog treats. I have also purchased two wind chimes here which are both very high quality.
