Usually no issues with this store, but today I have one...
They overcharged me 10c on each Rice a Roni cup, for a total of 40c.
When I asked clerk about it (which mind you has been on the phone with a personal call since before I went through first time), they tell me "oh, it's included in the discount here" and points to the $2.50 discount line. At this point I just give a thumbs up, since she is still on phone, and leave. It's hot outside and my son was waiting.
I used to work at this store, and I have worked retail for 30 years. No, that 40c is NOT included in the discount line. It is NOT a discounted price. It is regular retail.
As you can see on receipt, there ARE 2 items that were on sale, clearly stated and CLEARLY add up to the $2.50 discount.
Yes, I am mad over .40c. Every penny matters to me right now and that 40c is just what I noticed, so what else are they? Also the fact she was on a personal call (yes, I know this because she is talking about someone having her bankcard and better not use it for them, blah blah blah...) and didn't even bother to set it down to give me her attention. I sincerely hope this isn't the manager of the store exhibiting this kind of customer service. I didn't see a name tag.
Then just imagine, this item is usually sold out, and they are overcharging 10c each....or someone hasn't done their price changes...either way is bad. Dollar General or not, I expect better.

I'm a dasher, I arrived before the store closed and the two older ladies who were working were very short with me and rude. As I was trying to complete my doordash order they stopped me and told me since the store is closed they didn't have to check me out and they kicked me out. I had to call my customer and explain it to him why I couldn't complete his order. Because of this I have a bad mark on my performance review.

WOW!! This was my second visit to the Azle location. Both times, I was greeted with a smile. The shelves are well stocked, clean and organized. I expected this Dollar General Store to be like all the others. I just started working in the Azle area. I’ve shared my experience with several people. The customer service is exceptional. Very Clean, Organized and you can walk down the isle. You can tell “The employees care about their store!” I was beyond impressed! I complimented the Employee for her exceptional customer service. Please, let your employees know their hard work didn’t go unnoticed! You have very caring employees! They are friendly, go above and beyond to help you find what you need. I will definitely be shopping here a lot! Thank you for the exceptional service. -Jackie

Love the cashier's they are so friendly and have good work ethic , always a little behind on stocking shelves but there always so very busy with foot traffic
