I have been here a few times since out this way. I cannot believe how poorly run this store is. 1 star is extremely generous.
Never ever a manager on site, and the store manager is a ghost. 9 out of every 10 employees has a pissed off look on their face. Not one worker says hello or is friendly. They actively ignore the customers as if they don't exist.
With such a booming area you would think the district and regional manager would take some interest in providing a better shopping experience. The parking lot with 12 cars versus Walmart next door which has hundreds of cars indicates how bad this place is. You have to work really hard to be worse than your local Walmart.
PS. I have 30+ years retail exp.

Albertson's is my preferred grocery store in Azle. It's never busy when I go. It's always clean. They have a better selection of healthier foods. The workers keep up with the buggies in the parking lot. Drive-up groceries is super easy and takes less than 5 minutes. Grocery deliveries are good too.

Went in after 4 items...left without even 1 of them
Only grocery in area that said could "custom" order a German Chocolate Cake for a special birthday. Drove 34 miles round trip to pick up, paid $26.00 for 1/4 sheet cake.
Cut to serve & discovered a dark chocolate cake with canned pecan frosting. NOT a German Chocolate cake.
Recommend driving to any Kroger store if you want to get what you order.

Went through self checkout and was having all kinds of problems with the coupon clipping, the ad, etc. A very nice older woman was running the self checkout. I forgot her name dang it. This was Tuesday May 28th. Night shift. Want her to get some recognition. She was so very patient, I've worked retail and had her job exactly. While I showed Patience in my position as well, it's hard to find. She reassured me several times that I wasn't any trouble. She stayed right there too make sure it went through. Her smile, Patience, and understanding are all quality examples of any employee in customer service. She had solid grey hair and I really wish I could remember her name. Please applaud her for her customer service Albertsons.

I like using the Albertsons app to clip virtual coupons, then go shopping for those items. Great savings! Love their produce and the bakery is top notch!

I visited this location on 3/29/24. I was with my buddy that has disabilities. While we were checking out at the self check out we noticed that the online grocery staff (right across from self checkout) was POINTING & LAUGHING at my friend with disabilities. The main staff member I remember (because she was the one blatantly pointing at my friend) was a heavy set blonde girl with short hair. I called the store to speak with the manager Sunday 3/31/23 and spoke with a store manager named Eric who said he would speak with their staff, but did not apologize for their actions and assure us that it would be taken care of. Will not be shopping here again.

Wonderful shopping experience. The staff is friendly and always helpful. Everything is pretty decently stocked and their coupons definitely help you save a lot!
