I hate leaving bad reviews, especially bc staff was really nice. But I recently got a full balayage here and hate it. I asked for a soft brown bc I have very dark hair, I wanted something soft and barely noticeable. Well, instead I have a red looking and very noticeable balayage. The stylist tried to blame the light in the salon and she did try to fix it, but couldn’t. I pretended I liked it bc I didn’t want her to mess with my hair even more. Not going back. I also got a haircut and that was ok, nothing superb.

I am so grateful to have found Becca, a true artist! It was first time seeing her - she listened and gave her recs and I love my balayage and haircut. The salon space is clean, airy and a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Unfortunately had a horrible experience with a full balayage coloring service from Ashley Kniffin that left my hair with orange / dark yellow chunks despite walking through that I wanted a natural warm blonde tone and looking at a photo from Pinterest during a pre-appointment consultation. Ashley was nice to fix some of the areas after my appointment and I was scheduled to come in for a 3rd time to tone and blend more but my appointment as canceled last minute and I was told I would have to see a different stylist and pay on top of the $400 I already spent to fix it. Now I'm left with hair that needs to be fixed by another salon right before the holidays.Please do yourself a favor and do not make the mistake I did; go to a different salon.

Haircuts by Ramses are always on point. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the shop is always fresh and green.

Samuel Carey is amazing. He takes the time to get to know your preferences and makes suggestions and teaches you how to style at home. He also has a cute mini dachshund accompanying him.

This review is solely to express my honest opinion of my experience since my first visit. My first visit at this location was Jan 2023 for a Brazilian blowout. I came in without any doubts since I've gotten Brazilian blowouts in the past and 1 from this same salon but different location without any issues. I knew from the start by the way she was straightening my hair after applying the product something was wrong. It seemed so careless and super fast to where she wasn't going over it several times like I've seen done in past blowouts. After everything was done, I walked out very gloomy and rainy weather. That was the test to see if my hair would hold up and it didn't. It instantly frizzed up and was in complete shock that I just walked out of that salon and paid an insane amount just to have my hair frizz up right away. I gave it a few days and after my first wash I also noticed how thick my hair still was and how slow it was to air dry. Im typically not one to complain but after having spent so much money (in my opinion) and not being done correctly I needed to say something. So I called in and was told they couldn't do anything because it was freshly done and if they did it again it would ruin my hair to which I totally agreed with. They offered a milborn hair treatment (complimentary) which I've never heard of but I said eff it I need some sort of relief to be able to do my hair fast in the mornings. The only difference I felt with that treatment was for a few days then it went back to what it was. I was frustrated because once again I didn't get what I originally paid for from my first appointment. Fast forward to this past appointment I just had on 4/1 to redo my Brazilian because it's been 3 months and was safe to do so, I was expecting some sort of credit from what seemed to be what was gonna happen after I talked to the receptionist several times. I was completely shocked that I was going to have to pay full price again for a service that WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY to begin with. In my past experiences from other beauty business if something isn't done correctly they fix it free of charge and then I tip very well because they honored their work. This wasn't the case here and I'm disappointed because I really loved the way McKenna did my Brazilian this time around. I am on day 3 of post salon blowout and my hair feels amazing. I do not want to discredit Mckenna's hard work during my Brazilian she re did (she wasn't the original stylist that did it in January) because she's amazing and gave me exactly what I always get when I do a Brazilian blowout. I just don't like how I was being told one thing in the beginning of all of this, only for me to end up paying full price for the service again. I can usually go 5-7 months in between Brazilians from the last stylists that have done them so having to pay full price again is a lot for me.

I had Sam work on my hair a few times. First time in my life to lighten my hair, so he gave me a lot of great advice. My hair is resistant to change, so he had to change the coloring strategy. I am still shocked that women will spend over 4 hours sitting in a salon for hair treatment

Sam is a great stylist for men. Always a good haircut and conversation. They also recently redid the place and have comfortable chairs. Good location down town with street parking available.

I hate leaving a negative review but I’m upset about my last visit to this salon. A few months ago I had my first Brazilian blowout with Zee and I loved it, and her, so much that I booked an appointment for my mom a few days later with her.This week, I made a last minute appointment with a different stylist because Zee was booked. I wanted to try the Brazilian express and the experience was completely different.The stylist was completely careless, ripping through tangles in my hair, applying the product to the skin, and I kept having to move my hair out of my face. This was concerning because the chemicals are strong. My eyes started watering and I had to ask for a fan, and she brought over one that was covered in dust. At my last appointment Zee had a fan ready and brought me protective eye glasses to wear, and was very careful during the application.I left with my hair still not completely dry, a tender scalp, watery eyes and sore throat. I had to wash my hair again at home because she didn’t wash it well and it reeked of chemicals so much that my husband noticed.Service: Brazilian hair straightening

I am saddened to have to write this review but I'm hoping I can save someone else from experiencing what I'm going through. I had my first Brazilian blowout and j had great results. The second time which was ~15 weeks later was where things went horribly wrong. The first red flag was when my stylist "offered" to let me go home with the chemical on and just to be careful to not get it in my eyes when I wash it at home a couple hours later. Luckily I refused and wanted the full service. Well, fast forward 3 months and FIFTY percent of my hair has fallen out. My dermatologist said my hair follicles are damaged and when that happens it occurs 2-3 months post which aligns with the Brazilian blowout. If you research Brazilian and hair loss it is mind blowing how often this is occurring for people. Oddly enough many with the second time you have it done. Please please don't get Brazilian blowouts. There is a reason there aren't many places that do them. They are toxic and now I have to live my choice. I'm depressed now with the amount of hair I have lost. It's awful

I adore this salon soooooo much. Chelsea Lang is the best!!! I could go on and on about her all day. She does the best Balayage highlights and has really just transformed my hair. She should get a pay raise. I will say that that everyone here is so friendly and kind. If I could not get an appointment with her if I'm in a pinch, I would feel very confident on using another stylist here. Everyone comes out of that salon looking like a million bucks. I highly recommend this place.
