“I am blown away by how professionally this location is ran. I made an appointment last night and bought the tires I needed online. I show up to the location 30 min prior to my scheduled time and Jacob greeted me. As soon as I mentioned my online appointment he knew which tires I had bought and all the extra information I had put on it. The estimated wait time was 1 hour but they knocked the whole thing out in 24 minutes. Ernesto gave my keys back and explained all that was done and I was on my way. The whole process from entering the store and leaving was less than 30 min. That’s for all 4 tires being replaced and everything that goes along with that. I am extremely happy with the service and def would recommend this location. Thanks again to both Jacob and Ernesto.”

“I recommend Ken with no reservations. Excellent welder. My Panamera wasn’t driving quite “right.” My mechanic suspected this was related to some dents he saw on my wheels. Reached out to German Auto, who recommended Ken.Called on a Wednesday, scheduled for Thursday, picked it up on Friday, just in time for a road trip.Car drives nice and smooth like it’s supposed to, and for a great price. If you need your wheels replaced in Austin, go here.Final comment. Maybe I’m old school, but I quite liked Ken’s company and demeanor. We stood around for 30m after my car was done talking fast cars and old times. He didn’t waste a lot of time on the phone when we scheduled, and I think as a solo business owner, he juggles a lot of balls to turn around jobs quickly. This guy’s cool, trust.”

“I can't say enough positive things about these guys. I struck something on 35 the other night that dented to rim and blew out the tire. I went here because of all the positive reviews. I brought my wheel in to get looked at for repair and not only got told they couldn't repair it because it was too damaged but that no one should because the damage was too great. While my heart sunk, I was so appreciative of their honesty and concern for my safety. I didn't know what to do next. These wheels are over $1k each and I didn't know what to do other than go back to the dealer and try to order a new one. But then, they said they'd look to see if they could find me another wheel. And sure enough, they found a refurbished one at less than half the price and it arrived before 9 am the following day! Talk about customer service! Thanks to them I only had to drive around on the spare for a day and now I'm all fixed back up and good as new. A++. Thanks guys!”

“Before going out of town, I saw a bubble on my tire that needed attention. Jorge was able to diagnose the issue as well as determine my other tires were in need of replacement (I knew they were old, but he demonstrated the tread depth and was able to determine the age of them also). He showed all the various options that were available, and surprisingly was able to get all tires replaced and back on the road in about half an hour. I was floored by how quick and knowledgeable and kind everyone at Discount (but especially Jorge) was - thank you so much for saving the day!”

“I came here on Monday because I unfortunately had my back right tire blow out when driving Monday morning. I called Discount Tire and spoke to Jesús, who was very helpful in pulling up my account and telling me they could change my tire pretty quickly after the car arrived. Tanner also went the extra mile in driving my car up front for me too when the repair work was done. Last, credit to the discount tire team for realizing I actually purchased a tire warranty from them and using the warranty to help minimize what I had to pay for repairs this time around. Overall, it was a good experience for what could have been a very stressful one. Well done!!”

“This place saved the day! I was shopping at ACR right across the street, and when I came back to my car, I noticed my back left tire was totally flat. Filled with dread, I figured I would have to leave my truck bed full of art supplies in the lot overnight, take an uber home, and maybe tow my truck somewhere the next day?! I was SO lucky to realize that A-1 was close enough for me to slowly roll over to, right before closing time.When I got there, they were gracious, helpful, and friendly, and even stayed open a little late to patch my tire. (Actually, TWO tires - they noticed that I had picked up nails/screws in the front right as well.) It only took a few minutes and it was about $35 - a great value, and SUCH a relief compared to my worst case scenario. I am forever grateful!”

“I had a blowout flat tire on a trailer I was pulling through Austin. Googled for a tire shop that was still open at 6:45 pm on a weeknight and close enough that I could limp in on the remaining trailer tire. They answered the phone and having limited options and knowing nothing about them, this is where I went. It is not where I normally would have picked, I usually buy from the well known tire stores. That said, they treated me excellently. No wait, fair prices, and they had the trailer tires I needed on hand. They did good work and were nice to chat with. Within one hour of the time my tire blew on the highway, I was on my way with four new tires (my request, they did not upsell me). If you are in a bind like I was, don't be afraid to give these guys a shot”
