Wells Branch Community Church became my second family a year and a half ago. I’m so grateful to God for this community of Christ-following people who love others so well. Pastor Plek is an excellent pastor who preaches directly from the Bible, without adding or leaving anything out. Come check it out one Sunday and see for yourself!

It's so challenging for Christians, I think, sometimes to balance the call to reflect Jesus' love, grace, and acceptance on the one hand while not compromising the truth on sin, everyone's need of a Savior, and the charge laid on believers to lead holy lives. Wells Branch Community Church comes pretty darn close!

After going to this church for two years, we moved, but we always keep coming back to this church when we are in town because it’s home away from home. Not only do the members treat you like family, but the pastor, Plek, always preaches with the Holy Spirit. We walk away from every sermon knowing something more about God and about ourselves. If you ever need prayer, help, or a friend, this is the place. If you’re searching for God, mad at God, questioning God, this is the place where you can struggle with all that and get answers while drawing closer to God.

Casual dress. 10:45 Sunday Service with complimentary coffee. Engaging pastor. Just enough praise and worship. Mostly white congregation but seemed to be accepting of other races (About 200 white 10 black, 20 Hispanic and 5 Asian - and yes it matters to some) The one time I went, they preached against homosexuality, but hey-if that's how they interpret the Bible then they pay rent to be able to preach that. One other concerning thing was that the pastor only offered communion to "sinless Christians". Most places allow anyone to take communion as Jesus invited everyone to receive. I'm gonna go back because it had a good vibe even though it wasn't 100%.

I love this church so much, i feel like i can be my imperfect self and no one will judge me. I could be wrong but i wouldnt be able to tell cause everyone is so nice and welcoming. I love pastor pleks sermons, they are so dead on and they arent just 1 or 2 passages, he connects them very well between the new and old testaments.
