A zero is more accurate. Whatever you do, do not order meds from this store unless you don't care if you ever get them. I left Walgreens as a chain years ago because they're so customer hostile and if anything they've gotten worse. This particular location didn't notice an order was there for three days - in fact they never noticed it; I had to call them. Then they said they needed to order the meds - we're going into day 4 on that (my current pharmacy takes two at most) This last time I called, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. So 8 days now and they aren't capable of working their own phone so how are they going to do anything as complicated as their jobs. So incompetent it has to be intentional. Maybe Walgreens is underpaying them and overworking them and this is how they're getting their revenge, I don't know. And this review is admittedly vitriolic but - I have been perfectly pleasant on the phone so it's not like they're reacting to my being an arse about it. It seems safe to say that Walgreens has been consistently bad for long enough that you should look elsewhere for your meds if you possibly can. Update - the day after the above: my dr called Walgreens and canceled this order & called it back in at my regular pharmacy. About mid morning, I got a text saying they had received my prescription order; a couple of hours later, I got a text saying it was ready for pickup. That's what competence looks like.

I stopped by at 9:00am. They told me to come back in an hour for my prescription. I took off work at 11:00. They said it’s not ready and to come back after 2:00. I can’t take off work several times a day. They were not very pleasant either. It is now after 4:00 and it is finally ready.

Title: Exceptional Customer Service Experience at WalgreensI recently had an outstanding experience at my local Walgreens, on 1/23/24, and I cannot praise their customer service enough. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and attentiveness. The manager and cashier went above and beyond to ensure that I felt valued as a customer.The manager Juan, in particular, took the time to personally welcome me and inquire about my needs. Their friendly and approachable demeanor immediately put me at ease. They were knowledgeable about the products and services offered, and their willingness to assist me was truly commendable.Moreover, the cashier that night Latra, was equally remarkable. Their courteous and professional demeanor made the checkout process a breeze. They were efficient, yet took the time to engage in friendly conversation, which made the entireexperience even more enjoyable.Overall, the level of customer service I received at Walgreens surpassed my expectations. Kudos to Juan, and Latra, their genuine care and willingness to go the extra mile truly set them apart. I left the store feeling appreciated and satisfied, and I will undoubtedly be returning as a loyal.I highly recommend this Walgreens location to anyone seeking exceptional customer service.

I was on hold from 9:52 - 11:52 AN, with three calls ahead of me. The phone abruptly hung up when I made it as the first call in queue stating the Pharmacy is temporarily closed. When I called back, the message, stated the Pharmacy is closed. I called the store only to be told they are waiting for a Pharmacist to come in, the pharmacy will be opened later.

After being unable to find Hydrocodone anywhere in Austin,This pharmacy said they had it 3 days ago.They Lied.I am now 13 days behind and have chronic pain.Unbelievable.

I was at my local Walgreens store at S 1st and Stassney, withdrawing money when the ATM malfunctioned. After whirling for nearly 5 minutes, it ended up spitting our a receipt for $100 I requested BUT it DID NOT spit out the money!! This was observed by the cashier right next to the machine so there was no doubt it didn't give me the money. The Walgreens manager walked in not 5 minutes later and I told him. HE DID NOTHING!!! Said it was not there machine - which you are lead to believe it is - and I would have to contact the ATM owner. Note there is NO sign stating "use at your own risk" or "not property of Walgreens" or anything. After bitching to the manager - and him acting like I did something wrong and literally threatening to throw me out - found a number on the very bottom of the machine. He scribbled the number on a piece of paper shoved it to me and again basically told me to get out of his store!!! I called the number he gave me and they said they couldn't do anything until Chime lists it as a dispute! So if you use the ATM machines in Walgreens just know NO ONE takes responsibility for any malfunctions. It is a 45 day process to get your money back!

I go to this Walgreens because its a block from my house. I have lived in this neighborhood and have been going there since 1994. At one time it was well run, clean, and friendly. The pharmacy was well run with knowledgeable, pleasant staff. Over the past 2 or 3 years the pharmacy has gone straight to Hell! The employees don't seem to care about pleasant efficient service. They have revised their hours because they are short staffed? Now why is that? Could it be that the staff there can't stand the head pharmacist. Justin the pharmacist is a jackass! Clueless, rude, slow...he acts very put upon if I ask questions about my meds. Instead of chatting with me about them, like his predecessors, he tells me to read the pharmacy sheet that comes with the meds. I have wondered if his attitude is a racial thing as I am Native American. He sees me and does everything he can to avoid interacting with me. Now as I read other peoples reviews I am beginning to think that he is simply a clueless jerk. He may have a pharmacy degree but he has zero people skills. ZERO! If I could give a NO STARS review I would.

Pharmacy is terrible. They don’t answer the phone. Went on a random Thursday and the pharmacy was closed all day because they didn’t have a pharmacist. It wasn’t a holiday.They’ll text you that your prescription is ready, you show up, and it’s not. The staff doesn’t care, and they make that clear.Save yourself the trouble and go to the CVS right up the street. It is significantly better managed.

The store is fine but the pharmacy is the worst. The weekend pharmacists are always out so then it's closed when it's supposed to be open. They're behind when the week starts from being closed on the weekend so medication that should've been ready in an hour isn't ready until the week is almost over again. Routinely closed during the week too because of no pharmacist on duty, again. The blonde dude pharmacist is kind of snooty. Took my son to get a flu shot in the fall and he just seemed like he hated life and didn't say a word of pleasantries and was annoyed when my son was briefly afraid of the needle. I transferred all my stuff out to other locations and different pharmacies because this one sucks so much. My mom still comes to this location for her meds and they're already two days behind.

Perfect if you don’t want your prescription filled, or if you don’t want to be called or notified that they don’t have the medication to fill your prescription. Gold star territory. Slow clap for the tall pharmacist that hates his job also.
