This is our family’s main pharmacy, and I’ve always found the workers here friendly and helpful.

This is the worse drive through ever!!! Every single time my wait is so so long!! Why? Doesn't anyone in there know how a drive through is suppose to work? Does anyone care?

Seriously, a code to use the restrooms, then staff don’t even assist to open it. I was a paying customer but after that, I’ll go to a store that doesn’t have a code.

Staff is great. However this branch is always closed for no specified reason randomly. It happens so frequently, it's become a total gamble as to when they are open or not.

The staff here is really rude. They don't want you to buy from them. Just go to a different store down the street or go to HEB across the street. Transfer your prescriptions to Capsule who has super friendly customer service. It's not worth your time or energy. The management should really look at their staff. The shift lead Nikki is super rude. I was trying to buy some epsom salt and there was a day limit so I bought within my day limit and she was trying to deny me of purchasing the next day even when their policy is per day per customer. Somehow they were trying to argue that yesterday is the SAME DAY as today. Then on the spot tried to change their policies to 24 hours rather than next day which I said I could come back in a few hours if that's the policy but that was silly saying that it was only a couple hours from such time. My friend was also there and he was buying a bag as well and they almost denied him of purchasing trying to say that he in his own right was not a customer. They inappropriately asked if we lived together. Does everyone get asked this for buying a $5 of epsom salt? It made no sense whatsoever. I'm not sure why they were upset that I was buying epsom salt. They had plenty of stock and I wasn't buying outside of "store policy" which no signs were posted that there were limits. If they needed some salt for a bath, I would had happily bought them some because they really needed to relax but sorry, I was over my day limit so I couldn't buy them any.

Need a shot? Don't like the stabbing pain of a needle in your arm? Then this is the place for you.I absolutely dread shots, so as usual was quite nervous when it was my turn. The head pharmacist assured me he'd done this thousands of times and more importantly, that it wouldn't hurt. He advised me to look the other way. We talked of other things. To my great surprise and delight (hard to believe I'm using this word here), it was a quick and painless encounter. Done in a minute and I didn't feel a thing. True story.

Made an appointment for COVID testing. Their system failed to handle my case. I was refused to be tested. Health department should remove the testing license from Walgreens.

I know it seems kind of silly to review a chain, but I think it's worth it because this Walgreens takes care of me and my family. They have always been kind here, keep their stores well stocked, and their pharmacists are incredibly knowledgeable. This location is close to everything I need, quick to get in and out of, and I wouldn't want to use any other store.

I got emails to pick up my prescription but when I went to go pick it up it was not in the computer. Fortunately it wasn't an emergency but was a bit curious. Blue Cross Blue Shield made me switch from CVS which I was normally happy with. This Walmart is OK but it seems inconsistent and a bit haphazard..

I wrote a review about a year ago and the service has gotten worse and the staff prefers to blame the customer for it's mistakes. The store at 5819 Koenig Lane has staff members who must live in another world. Staff has implied that I am lying or a drug addict. I have CPTSD. My medications have been prescribed by the same physician for years. Without them, in a timely and predictable manner, my days are filled with flashbacks and waking nightmares and my nights are filled with night terrors followed by insomnia. I have found a locally owned pharmacy that I will be switching to soon. Walgreens used to be a good pharmacy but with the opioid crisis it looks like it's goodbye customer service and hello to covering my butt.

This one of the few places in Austin you can dispose your expired medications. This is why I make a special trip to come here. The box is located in the back of the store, by the pharmacy. Store has the same specials as other locations, and the store has the same general layout. I've found employees to be friendly when I am in the store. It is at a very busy intersection, so it's best to approach it from the north or west.

Super Duper!!I have an upcoming international flight that requires COVID-19 PCR test. I scheduled my test around 71 hours before a planned flight. Had I known the results would come this fast, I could have gone and got tested even closer to my scheduled flight itinerary! My results (negative) were returned via an easy link in an email after only around 30 hours (the next day afternoon). I am seriously impressed! The timing is similar to the airport or concierge medical tests that cost over $200! The service at Walgreens for the COVID-19 test for travel is astronomically better than the service at a rival pharmacy chain that also does the drive-thru test. Not only was the result super-quick, but the pharmacists were very kind, patient, and tolerant when I walked up to the drive-thru window to do the test that is required for an upcoming imternational flight. (OMG-was I a bum, transient, or just an airline pax? Have you heard about car rental rates lately?)Walgreens on Burnet Rd. in AUS is seriously awesome!!
