605 W 37th St ste b, Austin“Visiting from NJ and this was a "must do" from several friends and family members.
Without a doubt, the best $15 you can spend in Austin. The cruise ran close to 90 minutes and Captain Gabe provided lots of history and stories of the area. Very informative!
The night time skyline views are amazing and watching the bats leave their nests was certainly a unique experience.
Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Quick tip: if you get here early, we found free street parking right in front of the Hyatt (parking is free on Sundays) and walked over to the Yeti Flagship store on the corner and enjoyed several cocktails at the bar. You can order a drink/beer and wander the store while shopping.”
“Great location and amazing breakfast. Ken at the front desk was friendly and super helpful, helping us with the bikes and offering suggestions for places to explore. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in Austin again.
Rooms: Clean and well appropriated. The beds were comfortable and the black out shades are truly black out!”

211 E 3rd St, Austin“I stayed here while attending a conference at the next door hotel. The Hyatt place was $100/night cheaper and the room was great! Clean, comfortable, and the Chromecast on the TV was a nice bonus. There's a mini fridge in the room which is nice. I had a burger at the bar downstairs. It was good but needed a little salt. Staff was super friendly. I was on the 14th floor which has a great view.”
“My mom loved the class I got her for her birthday! After accidentally missing it we had to call Antonelli's and they let her reschedule it for free and even gave her some extra chocolate for her birthday to take home! Super, super good service :) we will back”
“I ran out of stars on here to give, so we will add another 50 on the side. I cannot say this enough.....TERRACE ANDERSON IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
Let me start by saying we used this beautiful venue for a wedding. Shari, Christina, Zelinda and Barb were the best to work with. We had a guest list of around 50 people and this place did not deliver......THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! My bride is from overseas, so most of the planning landed on my shoulders. Anderson Terrace provided a great all-inclusive package, that although affordable, was certainly not cheap in quality or service. After working in customer service for over 25 years, working with Shari and her staff was such a delight. They actually care in their words, actions and constant communication. They are all very transparent and are there to serve the customer. Christina was our assigned coordinator and she felt more like a friend than a business contact. She took care of so much for us, took interest in our love story, and helped in all the details from selecting our decorations, colors, music, program, food.....YOU NAME IT!
Was the food good? Ummm....yeah! We had the BBQ and our family and friends loved it....hardly had left overs. The cake was more than enough for all of our guests and if I may suggest....get the bottom layer chocolate....our guests sang praises on how the staff served BOTH vanilla AND chocolate in one serving. Family asked for the leftovers.....so it disappeared the day after.
What about the DJ? He kicked A$$! Got the feel for the multicultural and multi-genrational crowd and hit it right on the money. If he didn't know it, he invited our guests to step on up and request what they wanted. He was a crowd favorite!
What about the bar tender? You ever have that cool friend that loves to make drinks at home and have fun? That was our bartender! Another crowd pleaser!
Photographer? (haven't received our photos...it's only been 2 days, but I am sure they will be great).... He was amazing as well. He got creative and remained active the entire night and he even took requests. As a hobbyist photographer, I can say that he really worked the crowd, got all the angles I was thinking about and then some. Gave me such peace of mind.
Our officiant, Cookie, was the sweetest! My bride and I spent quite some time over the phone the week before the wedding so she could get our story, gave us a bit of her own story and was able to so graciously accommodate a special Indonesian custom into our ceremony. She executed with care and sincerity...we loved her!
The scenery was gorgeous....open field in the background with the sun peaking in and out of the clouds as it set. I swear, this place even negotiated with the weather because it was perfect. The inside of the house, including the serving area, the cake room (I don't know what to call it lol) the bathrooms, and the bridal and groom suites were SUPER CLEAN, very nice and super comfortable. I even took a nap before the wedding because Christina, Zelinda and Barb were so proactive and took care of all the guest favors, flowers for our parents....everything!
Finally, our guests were just so amazed on how wonderful the venue was and how down to earth and fun it was. The parents knew the staff by name and Christina even got to know so many of our friends and family. If you are on the fence and are looking something to fit within your budget, go talk to Shari and her staff. She is a straight shooter, but hands down, is there to make sure you have a GREAT experience. I felt that from the start and she won me over. People first, and everything else is second.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“ACL Live at Moody Theater is one of the best music venues I’ve ever been to.
Incredible acoustics, incredible sight lines regardless of where your seats are. I’ve sat at the very top and stood on the floor… all are enjoyable!
Try to score tickets to an Austin City Limits taping! Amazing to see live!”
“Was fairly easy to find.
Went to see a gem show ,it was a good size and quiet enjoyable. I also was pleasantly surprised that they actually accepted cash as well as credit cards.”
“What an oasis in the domain and Austin. Stayed here for F1 & UT/UGA football game weekend. The courtyard is so fun and cool and screams hill country Austin vibes. The restaurant and bar are good and a great vibe. The pool is nice and at night they have the fire pits going. They have a resident chocolate lab, Whiskey, that is just the sweetest. You feel like you’re at home and can just relax.
I could not believe every time I stepped out of the hotel I was next to a Dillards ?”
“Great place to vibe with friends. Wish they had better crane machines. The claws barely work which is a bummer for people wanting to actually play them lol. But otherwise great location! Super friendly staff, easy to book events, Bar is AMAZING with their themed drinks. Always a great time!”
“Went during JimJam’s burger popup. Burgers were delicious. It was their $1 beer Thursdays which is a steal. Service was great. I love the little outside area and with the weather getting cooler it’ll be a great place to hang out at. Bartenders said they try to do food pop up’s like that pretty often.”
“Came in for an event and loved the venue, which is luxurious and quiet despite being in the middle of some of the busiest place in Austin. Nick and the concierge team were amazing and helped myself and the guests of the event feel welcome.”
“Fabulously prestigious atmosphere and decor, practically non-existent parking. Dance floors are great, but it's only A/C, no fans for air movement. You will have a blast, but arrive early.”
“My friends and I did a private party with Coach Jo and it was amazing. The energy, vibe, attention to details and service was everything. Everyone enjoyed themselves and Coach Jo made everyone feel comfortable. I’m definitely interested in doing individual and a group event soon.”
“Ample parking. Nice venue. An event here has three conditions - 1. Has a waiting hall that is AC, 2. sun covered ground but no walls and with evaporative cooling fans 3. Playing area that has few events and is exposed to sunlight.”
“It's a nice place. I would recommend going during weekdays to avoid crowds. Overall, it's a nice place with 3 stories of museum artifacts. It's better to get one year unlimited visits, It includes free parking which will cost you about $13. Individual ticket is $15 per ticket. The total annual cost of one year is $85 for the family of 4 and free IMAX movies access throughout the year.”
“This place is a hoot! We’ve been coming here since they’ve opened and have always had a great time. The place is clean and kept up well and their landscaping just pulls it all together. I highly recommend Duke’s for some challenging putt-putt!”
“WOW! We spent the weekend in the Domain area and stayed at the Archer. It was lovely. The staff was always friendly. Very clean hotel. The rooms were nice, and the bed was comfortable. James always greeted us as we passed by the front desk. Once, he noted we were waiting by the coffee bar for a prolonged period as it was empty, and he quickly walked across the lobby to refill the coffee dispenser. He didn't have to do that. He made the stay extra nice. Super friendly. Definitely will stay there again. Shopping was a bonus. Clean area and felt safe at night walking around.”

The booking process is easy, and Lache provides a supportive and encouraging environment for anyone learning aerial. It's a place that regularly inspires me and I feel lucky to be part of the Lache community!”
“My son and his beautiful bride enjoyed a romantic magical wedding last weekend. The venue is beautiful and is laid out in a fashion to use every bit of it. Married out under the old oaks, charcuterie on front courtyard. Dinner and dancing under the tent overlooking the pond and flowers. Then my family spent the night in the house and enjoyed family breakfast together. The wedding party stayed in the cabin and had a sleepover party. These kids have known each other since child hood and Mark & Beth wanted to celebrate with friends. This venue has it all. The Coordinater Catherine is so so organized but still defers to “what the bride wants” in her directions. Great communication at every step. Very professional service. Thank you for this day!”
“As an independent contracted event staff worker, I have been here over 50 times and it’s such a great venue. It’s SO clean. There’s plenty of bathrooms, it’s huge, the green room is nice and air conditioned and aesthetically pleasing. I think it’s a great place for practically any event.”

400 Josephine St, Austin“Outstanding Service and Unforgettable Stay at The Carpenter Hotel
Our recent stay at The Carpenter Hotel in Austin, Texas, was truly unforgettable, and much of that is thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Joseph at the front desk.
From the moment we checked in, Joseph’s warmth and professionalism stood out. He greeted us with a friendly smile and immediately made us feel welcome. Throughout our stay, Joseph consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Whether it was offering thoughtful suggestions for local attractions, promptly attending to our requests, or just checking in to see how our day was going, Joseph’s genuine care and attention to detail made a significant difference in our experience.
What impressed us most was Joseph’s ability to anticipate our needs before we even asked. It’s rare to encounter someone who is so attuned to guests’ needs and who can make you feel so valued and cared for. His deep knowledge of the hotel and the surrounding area was incredibly helpful, and his personalized recommendations really enhanced our visit to Austin.
In addition to Joseph, we also want to recognize Carole and James, who were equally wonderful. Carole’s insights into local spots were spot-on, and James was always there to assist with a friendly attitude. Together, they created an atmosphere that was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating.
The Carpenter Hotel itself is a gem in Austin – stylish, comfortable, and perfectly situated for exploring the city. The rooms are beautifully designed with a unique flair that reflects Austin’s eclectic vibe, and the on-site amenities are top-notch.
In summary, our stay at The Carpenter Hotel was made extraordinary by the remarkable service from Joseph, Carole, and James. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Austin, look no further than The Carpenter Hotel – and be sure to say hello to Joseph”
“We got married at The Allan House in early March and it was a DREAM! The clear tent was up and I’ll admit I was nervous about it, but it turned out beautiful! The staff made sure the day turned out perfectly and the grounds were the perfect setting for our day. We wanted the feel of a backyard/garden wedding at an estate and that is exactly what we got. One of the best parts was the reaction from each of our vendors when we told them The Allan House was our venue. They were all very comfortable with the venue and knew it well, which made things super easy on my planner and me! Our day went off without a hitch and we got SO many compliments on how beautiful and intimate the venue was. The staff at The Allan House was easy to work with and very responsive. 10/10!!!”

10711 Research Blvd, Austin“My girlfriend and I stayed here for Austin pride weekend. It was a beautifully maintained hotel, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and the pool, hot tub, and cabana area as gorgeous! The best part was the welcoming front desk staff. Vera when we checked in Friday was so sweet and helpful and even upgraded our room to a suite complementary since we were platinum members. Ariel was there for our stay Saturday and Sunday and was so welcoming and genuine. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”
“Amanda and Allison are phenomenal! Wonderful humans that keep things running smoothly and are so kind, warm, and welcoming! Give those ladies a raise and a genie wish, pronto!!”
“I love Umlauf Sculpture Garden because they always have fun and different events throughout the year. I can't say I'm a huge fan of a lot of their sculptures, but the place is really beautiful and a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Definitely stop by if they have an event going on! They did something fun for the Chinese New Year.”
“This place is absolutely heaven sent!As a professional event planner myself, I have always felt the need to plan and design all my own parties. This year for my son’s 2nd, despite how excited I was to get to work, I decided I needed a break because I had a big 100 person wedding to plan the day before.Leah the owner is an absolute design and party planning rockstar . She created the most beautiful atmosphere for my son and even incorporated his favorite Pinkfong character Hogi. She is willing to go the extra yard for her clients and is easy to communicate with! The venue itself is like a mini Disneyland for kids! Everything is clean, sanitized and organized . In addition, the face painting/balloon artist was insanely talented! The party itself was perfect in every way. Our guest were blown away by the uniqueness of the concept of this little town! The best part is that the experience was completely hands free and there was no set up and clean up for me and my family!Thank you to Leah and her team! I know I can always trust a fellow professional event planner like her to plan the best parties for my son!”

“This place is just the best. I’ve had so much fun dancing here and the people in this community are so kind and fun to be with. All of the instructors are great, especially Ruby who I take class with every week!”
