3 hours for a passport. The person processing them can't be nice or professional at all. This location should shut down if the people here doesn't want to work

Waited 20 minutes at the parcel pickup door. Rang the bell, knocked. Waited... went to push the bell button again and they unplugged it. Knocked multiple times and finally someone yelled "go to the right!" Meaning the front counter.
How bout you put up a sign next time?
Awful experience

Do not and I mean do not do a walk in for a passport at this location. I had waited an hour to be seen because of two people in front of me. Which seemingly took forever! I mean literally took so long. Then by the time it was 9:58 a 10 am appointment came in and the passport lady took her before me even though she said I would be next. The lady had nothing filled out and instead of putting her to the side to fill out the forms necessary she just stood there. After realizing the next appointment came in and she took them I asked if I was even going to be seen and she said oh yeah technically I was supposed to see you before her but I forgot you can come back at 3. LIKE ARE U KIDDING ME WHY NOT JUST TELL ME THAT.

Mailed an express to Austin on 6/30/24 guaranteed to arrive on 7/2/24. Didn't happen finial delial delivery on 7/5/24. They said that attempted to deliver but no one responded. Now on my end, it says no access to the complex. So one of us is telling a lie. Carrie was LAZY on 7/5/24 when the package was delivered he didn't walk upstairs to the second floor to get someone to sign for it. Yes, this time he committed a crime he sign for himself. My daughter-in-law works from home. Is this what I paid for? NO!!!!! This carrier needs to be fired because I know that this is now his first time doing this. Every time I mail a package out of this post office they get lost or they can't get delivered. So start at the top and work your way down. I used to have a lot of faith in the post office but it has gone downhill and I don't see them getting out of the hole they are in.

Absolutely horrible experience at this location trying to get a new passport. I am shocked how badly I was treated by the lady at the passport booth! I wish there was a way to give 0 stars here!
I arrived 10 mins early at 9:50am for a 10:00am appointment, which I made more than a month ago. When I got to the booth, a couple were already there to get their baby's passport and seemed they were having a wonderful time and experience. The passport lady was friendly and chatting away with the couple and seemed extremely nice.
When it came to my turn and I approached her desk however, her face and demeanor changed completely. I said good morning with a smile and she responded with a discontented nod. Then I proceeded to provide all my paperwork. She asked if I filled the application and I said no so she mentioned she cannot start the process until I go to the other desk and fill out the application. I agreed and started filling out the application. Then she mentioned "no scratch outs" so I filled out ANOTHER application. When I was done with the second application, I brought it back at which point she mentioned "Oh baby, why did you use a blue pen! You should have used a black one". At this point, I started getting extremely frustrated as she has seen me use the blue pen when filling out not once but twice the same application and had said nothing. However, I did not want this whole incident to affect my day or my state of mind so I said nothing. She then kept getting ruder and ruder as I kept filling out the paperwork.
Finally, I decided this whole thing is not worth getting treated poorly so I kindly told her to "cancel" the whole thing and I will make another appointment (at ANOTHER LOCATION) and left.
I have been in Austin in 2006 and I have NEVER been treated this way before. I have also called USPS main office and submitted an official complaint. Hopefully, they can provide her with some training or at least give her another assignment where she doesn't have to interact with customers directly.

Why USPS fills mailboxes with junk mail? ...profiting from... WITHOUT A CHOICE TO OPT OUT

As a first time customer mailing a package, I did not appreciate the way the male employee was talking down at me. Instead of saying “miss” or “ma’am” to get my attention, he was rude and made me feel like he was calling a dog. Terrible first experience. By the way, I did see how bad the reviews were but still went and gave them the benefit of the doubt. They need to do better.

I live in the service area of this Post Office. As multiple others have commented, mail is frequently not delivered.
Now packages will ‘show’ as delivered, but they aren’t. Either someone here is running a criminal enterprise stealing mail, or the level of incompetence here is off the charts.
I try, the best I can, to avoid having anything shipped to me via USPS.
The real kicker is when you try to complain in person, they say they have done nothing wrong. When you try to file a complaint the website will tell you “There was a problem submitting your Service Request. Please try again later.”
Every time.
Let’s just close this place down already and force these criminals or idiots to get another job.

We had a great and efficient experience renewing/applying for a new passport with Donna!
She was very kind and made the process nice and smooth. Loved talking with her, you can tell she has a kind heart and loves what she does! Highly recommend.

Horrible experience trying to get a passport. Arrived at 12:15 for my appointment, after waiting 10 minutes for someone to show up, I asked the only lady working behind the counter and she said someone would be there shortly. Another 15 minutes go by and I ask again, finally someone comes out at 12:40 saying no one told her I was there and she wasn't in the back very long. I then take the time to fill out the application, after which I'm told that I can only pay with check or a money order, eventhough the confirmation email I received specifically stated I can pay with credit or debit card at a USPS facility. I wasted an hour of my day, took off half a day of work, and nothing got accomplished. It seemed as if all of the customers in there we're an inconvenience to the employees and they didnt want to help anyone if they didnt absolutely have to. It amazing USPS is still in business.

Categorically would not use this location for passport services without a scheduled appointment and arriving fully prepared with photos in hand. I hope the staffing increases soon as it was an under-staffing issue. The line for walk-in passport applications was poorly marked (people sitting on benches were apparently in line). I witnessed a loud and inappropriate verbal altercation between adults in the line, while my small children were with me.

Very good post office, would get 5 stars if they had more employees working. Overall good experience

This post office is stealing federal mail. Our mailbox has been broken for 6 months (they still have not repaired it) so we have to go to USPS to pick up all mail. We had a very important federal ID card mailed to this address and the manager told us explicitly that their employee handed the package to someone else.
I have gone back multiple times asking to speak to a manager or supervisor and they refuse to assist.
