I was visiting from out of town and called salon after checking out reviews. They got me in for a haircut the very next day with Amanda. Amanda was amazing. She was attentive, a great listener and a great communicator. I told her basically what I wanted and she gave me a wonderful haircut. She gave me what I asked for but better. The staff at the front desk were so accommodating too. The price was quite reasonable compared to what I am used to, so I was 100% pleased. Don't hesitate to book and ask for Amanda!

I went a week ago and it was an amazing experience. Paige did an amazing job!!!! I was looking for some layers that would compliment my facial structure and Paige was receptive to what I was looking for. She gave me a great cut without taking off much length. I also got a nice wash and a soothing little scalp massage. It was overall really great and I left feeling happy and beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

Overall I had a good experience at the salon, except for the online booking program scheduling me when someone else was scheduled so I had to get my appointment done by someone I hadn’t yet gotten my hair done by before. While I was in the salon I thought it went great, only to get home and realize that my hair was cut unevenly as if she forgot to cut one side of my hair, along with uneven layers that don’t blend into my hair. Once again I did enjoy my experience while in the salon but just disappointed once I got home, because now I need to get it fixed.

I do not like to write negative reviews, but I feel totally deceived on pricing by this salon. I had come here for years before covid and was always happy. When I booked, I was quoted $140 for partial highlights and when I was checking out was told they are putting $309 on my card. I had total sticker shock! I almost fainted. I did not want to start questioning my bill at the counter in front of other clients, so I decided to check my receipt and call back. I never received an email receipt. I called the salon yesterday and was told I would be hearing from someone or Savannah. I waited 24 hours and didn't hear back. I was told there was an additional charge for 2 other items; I believe she said one of them being color. I said 'I booked partial highlights, had I booked full highlights would this have been over $600?! The very kind Alex spoke with her supervisor that was not very willing to help me. I would have NEVER agreed to pay over $300 for a partial highlight, and honestly, my hair looks darker-not blonder which I clearly asked Savannah for. 100% disappointed and a complete waste of money. I canceled my next appointment in October and won't be going back. Make sure they go over pricing BEFORE you checkout!

I had the absolute best experience with Urban Betty. I am currently going through chemotherapy and started losing my hair sooner than expected. It was really traumatic for me to lose my hair so I was hopeful I could get a same day appointment and I was able to at Urban Betty. On top of that, they offer a program where they will give you 50% off your haircut if you donate your hair through their kids with hairloss donation program. Being able to donate my hair really helped lessen the blow of a painful part of my cancer journey. Additionally, all of the staff was so incredibly kind and understanding, giving me space to feel all my feelings, to bring two pals for support, and offering words of encouragement throughout it all - my stylist and other stylists! They also offer a line of haircare products that were initially created for clients going through chemo!! Overall it was such a wonderful experience despite it being one of the most difficult parts of my cancer journey. They have a lifetime customer in me now!

The best “treat yourself” luxury is a great haircut and Urban Betty has never let me down. Anna-leigh at the front desk is so kind and Audrey, my stylist, gives me an incredible curly hair cut. She’s able to remove extra bulk and shape my curls so I can just wash and wear them. I love a stylist that doesn’t think I need to blow dry!!

This review is specifically about Regan, who left me feeling humiliated and violated, who does brows and lashes here. I want to preface this review by saying prior to this instance I was never late, never no showed, always tipped generously. I had an appointment on 6/12/2024 scheduled had a health appointment that was supposed to end far before the time of my appointment however it went over. When I got off of the table, I immediately called. I was charged for the appointment, which I didn’t mind, as I had missed it and scheduled for the next day for 5:00. I informed them I could take the appointment but would have to bring my children and they said it’s a short appointment so no problem. I called at 5:03 and informed them I was 3 minutes away, they said no problem. At 5:08 I walk in the door and Regan comes out to tell me that she wouldn’t take me. She looked at me up and down as if I was disgusting and was so rude, I was honestly embarrassed. The treatment was brutal enough for another staff member to apologize and tell me she would back me because that was insulting and disrespectful. Honestly I hope she can find a healthier way to deal with frustrated or stressed emotions because projecting onto other people and lacking emotional self control as a business woman is poor etiquette. Glad I won’t be engaging in any more energy exchanges with her, as there is enough hatred, judgment and negativity without paying someone to receive that treatment. Not really sure why I’m surprised as she spent out previous appointments talking about how she had disdain and dislike for most people and most of of things she said were rude and very much in ego; protect your safety, and deal with people who aren’t just about beauty but also about wellness ♥️ ✨

I was nervous about getting my hair done for the first time in years, but my stylist Kati was skilled, professional and sweet as can be! She did a great job on my cut & bringing me from the darkest brown to the brightest orange. The salon itself is a beautiful and positive place, and you can tell the stylists love it there too. Can’t wait to come back ?

I have been visiting Urban Betty for a while now, and I can't say enough good things about their service and staff. I mostly see Harsha at the 38th Street location, and she does an absolutely amazing job every time!! Her attention to detail and skill is unmatched.
Recently, I had an incident where I had to cancel my appointment on the day of, and the staff was incredibly understanding and professional about it. Special thanks to Lauren at the Round Rock location for handling everything so smoothly and taking care of the situation for me.
Today, I had a root touch-up and conditioning treatment with Aly at the South Congress location, and she was hands down the best I've ever had!! Her expertise and friendly demeanor made the experience even better!!
All of Urban Betty's locations consistently deliver top-notch service, and they have certainly earned my loyalty for life. I absolutely love coming here and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for exceptional hair care!!

I recently relocated to Austin & found Maggie! ?? I am moving toward light & bright blond & she was an absolute gem from consult- to leaving the salon, pleased.
I appreciate the lightness level she achieved on our first appointment, a lovely hair-cut, her kindness & clarity through out the process…as well as her care for the integrity of my hair. ? ? ?

I've been visiting Urban Betty to see Regan for brow and esthetic services for a few months. I'm fairly new to this realm of self-care and Regan has been so helpful in providing me with education and advice, suggesting services I might like without feeling like I'm getting a hard sell. She's clearly passionate about the work she's doing and I leave feeling like my best self. I'm also a huge fan of the lovely humans that work the front desk who somehow always seem to be in a good mood. I've worked in customer service for decades and I know this is no easy feat. The whole experience at Urban Betty is a treat from the moment I walk in. My skin and brows have never looked or felt better. Highly recommend.

I visited the salon for a facial from Regan and holy cow, it did not disappoint! I left the salon glowing. The facial was so relaxing and the massage work she does… *chefs kiss*!! Not to mention she is so friendly and makes you feel at ease. I look forward to returning soon!

My eyebrows need regular maintenance, and Regan got my brows back in shape and looking divine. She is a fabulous esthetician. Her little area at the salon is a safe, quiet, judgement-free space. I love that it is somewhat set apart from all the noise and bustle of the salon. My eyebrows and surrounding skin are cared for when I’m on her treatment table. Little to no redness or swelling post-appointment, which is very hard to avoid given my very fair complexion. She works magic with that wax! Brow waxing is a quick procedure, and Regan is efficient with the time, but she never rushes. Always cognizant of both my time and her own. Today, she texted me to let me know I could get there early if I wanted to. I appreciated that because I had some other errands to run after and it helped move my day along a little faster. Personable, warm, and talented, thank you Regan!

I have had two incredible facials so far at Urban Betty done by Regan Lain. I honestly cannot stop raving about my experience and results. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that put me at ease. Regan made sure to make the room a safe space, which made me beyond comfortable to be there. Regan is absolutely amazing at what she does. She took the time to understand my skin concerns and customized my facial to address my specific needs. Being someone that personally struggles with PCOS, I have a lot of discoloration, dark spots, and acne on my face. Regan was able to target all issues that I was experiencing. She used high-quality products that left my skin feeling rejuvenated, hydrated and glowing. This is something that I have not experienced in a long time. Her expertise and attention to details were very evident. Regan explained each step of the process and gave me valuable tips for maintaining my skin’s health at home. She set a realistic routine for me to follow, and recommended some products that would help keep my skin looking good. I wholeheartedly recommend Urban Betty and Regan to anyone that is looking for an exceptional experience. I can’t wait for my next appointment.
