I went with high expectations for a tiktok that I saw but the truth is I didn't find what I expected, the prices are very high for most of them being used clothes. I didn't find anything to buy that was worth it and I love shopping. Find better deals at outlets for new clothes. That was my experience

Drove an hour to sell an item that I was told they would buy only for them to tell me they didn't want it. Cost me 40 bucks in gas for absolutely nothing.

I'm not a thrifter, but this is the only thrift store I go to in Austin. I've tried a bunch since we're in Austin. But Uptown Cheapstake has the best selection, the most organized thrift I've been to, and staff is always friendly. I always find good leather purses here too!

I wish something about this place made sense...buyers are inconsistent lacking any consistent guidelines or criteria to follow. They are flooded with sellers every day all day which means 1 hour minimum wait times. Inventory available for purchase is all over the spectrum which contributes to the confusing business model. Buyers make insulting offers on big ticket items and make sure to give the most insulting reasons why they don't want to buy your items more insulting by making sure everyone in the store hears them insult your taste!! The staff at the buy counter are clearly the rejects of quality retailers
