I appreciate this UPS location! Mary is extraordinary, she always keeps up with the new policies and carefully explains procedures. I have witnessed her diligent and charismatic leadership during each visit. I love the wide range of services provided at this location, everything from our PO Box mailbox, shipping and shredding.

My husband and I came into the ups store@ 8120 Research Blvd today hoping to get help printing a document through an online app. We encountered two of the nicest and most knowledgeable employees in the personality of Chris and Kyle. They took their time and figured out how to print what we needed. We are so grateful and wanted to be sure and make management aware.

My husband and I are in our 80s, and technology has passed us by, but yesterday I sent my husband to this UPS Store to do a return. I stayed on the phone with him because I could not physically come to the store since my health is not the best. When he went into the store he didn't know where the barcode scan was that he needed to find on his phone, immediately I hear a lady say “well if you don't know where it's at I don't know where it's at and there's nothing I can do to help you”. That lady then walks off I presume and I hear another lady say “its my first day but let me see if I can help you”, she finds the barcode it did take her maybe 2 or 3 minutes but she was extremely patient with my husband and myself and I am shocked at how the first lady talked to my husband, but in contrast the other employee who is on her first day of work helped my husband with the utmost respect and patience. So thank you to the young lady who on her first day that went out of her way to help, and to the other lady who made us feel like we were incompetent, shame on you, that was unacceptable.

I came to leave a review under an alias about my recent experience. But as I read the reviews from most recent to up to and over a year ago, the negative reviews revolve around Mary. Tina, it's time to fire Mary and replace her. She sounds like a miserable person who makes other peoples days miserable. You don't need that in your store. Plus, if you bump up the pay range, you will get a better talent pool.

This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They were angry that I had Landsend merchandise to return and were frustrated with having to figure out how to do the return, saying it was the first time they've returned anything from Landsend. I also had Amazon merchandise to return, and they told me to figure out how to return the merchandise myself by using the self-help station. I had already cued up the returns by having the bar codes, but one staff member said I had to cancel all the returns I prepared and start over, while the other staff member chastised me for not knowing how to easily work the machine at the return station. When I asked for bigger bags, they asked why I couldn't use the smaller bags, making me show them the products I was returning to prove why I needed the bigger bags then asked how many bags I needed, instead of just letting me easily get a couple of bags. While I was doing the return process they laughed, talked extremely loudly for no understandable reason, and even began whistling. It felt like they were teasing me, while I was trying to read and follow directions to be able to return the merchandise correctly. I even had to leave the store just to clear my head to be able to fully understand the return process when working with the self-help station. While outside, I realized I didn't have to cancel all the returns I had created before going to the store, because I located the bar codes with each return. Unfortunately I was halfway through the six returns, canceling the returns I created at home and starting over with returning each item while in the store. Once I located by scrolling further down and realizing I had the bar codes that I had created at home, the return process went by much more quickly. While I was struggling with the returns prior to realizing I didn't need to cancel each return and start over with each return while in the store, the return process went by slowly, and the two staff members told me to move three different times so that others who had just opened the door to return Amazon packages could use the self-help station, while the staff did nothing to help anyone. If they truly had helped me in the beginning, instead of misleading me on the return process, I wouldn't have had to move out of the way and wait for three people to return their merchandise, since I had been in the store much longer before they had arrived. While I worked at returning the merchandise, I felt like they were mocking me and trying to make it difficult for me to even understand how to use the self-help desk. When I asked for help, one staff member did mock me and said I just needed to read the instructions, adding no one reads the instructions and will ask for help, which she said she found very annoying. There were no lines, the staff weren't helping any customers, except for one, who quickly came and left, and this customer wasn't returning any Amazon purchase. As stated, while I was returning the items, the other staff member kept laughing, whistling loudly a lot, and both staff members kept yell-talking to each other. Their speech felt directed toward me, as if they were putting me down for not knowing how to work the self-help return machine. I know it wasn't my imagination, because the person I was with said the staff was being very rude, unhelpful, and loud. When I left, the staff member that had been whistling was cleaning the front door and when I walked out, I said, "Bye. Have a nice day." She didn't respond, and I had enough by then so added, "Don't respond. I don't care." She then said, "Have a happy Thanksgiving." She sounded rude even while she said that sentiment. I honestly have never had such rude, apathetic behavior from any customer service representative, and that's saying a lot. I have never given a negative review, ever. This is the first time I've given a negative review. If I could fire both of these staff members, I would. It felt like they were ganging up on

I needed to ship some clothes to my friend. The lady I talked to was extremely impatient and almost rolled her eyes when she saw that I didn't have my things boxed up. She sighed so loud as if she was trying to let me know that she didn't want to do her job. She didn't offer to help pack things up for me, and instead found a huge box (much bigger than what I needed) and told me to pack things up myself. This was a much different experience from what I had when I shipped with Fedex, where the employees proactively let me know that they would take care of the packaging. The huge box resulted in a huge shipping fee, $186.15 for ground shipping. Bit too much for some clothes, eh?

Worst Customer Service EverI have used the particular store for more than 4 years and the store has witnessed high rate of labor turnover due to constant change in store ownership I guess new owner new set of employees. I understood that the franchise could be purchased and I'm willing to purchase the franchise for this store just to put it in order whoever that is in charge should reach out, I am willing to purchase the franchise. My reason for using the store over the years is because they are my neighbor so I saw the need to help them than to go to another store but I was insulted by the new employees working in the store.. I went there to handle my shipment as I always, The items were fragile and I needed to make sure they were well packaged to avoid damage in transit..First one of the ladies Caucasian was impatient to listen to me why i needed the items welll padded another of her colleague Mexican I guess came in, we went through the details I was fine with the bills then she handed me over to the first lady that I met, she started ranting asking me if I wanted to move on or not that it could be cheaper if I wrapped the items myself, since she made the offer I said ok maybe I should try it who likes spending more.money since they were billing me more just for to wrap which she revealed so she suddenly turned the whole conversation against me that I should move away since I could not make up my mind. I thought you said I should go and wrap why mada me look as though I was the problem? to cut the long story short they refused to ship my items after I had been in the store with them and even though I havd patronagized this particular store for years begged them to process my shipment, they ordered my out of the store before I knew what was happening the same lady was calling the 911 that I was disturbing the store, so shocking I just had to leave since I had other stores I could use.I wondered why I was treated that way? the former employees that were there was so sweet and cooperative. I have been there severelly and saw how they handled their customers. I feel so bad not because of what happened to me but because of how many customers they were going to stop coming to the store. With this.kind of attitude the store owner stand to loose and should step in to educate them to please respect and treat their customers with kindness. if this is not done its just matter of time they would run down the store and move on to another place leaving the store owner bankrupt. Of course I had to go to a different shipper entirely that handled my shipment even at a cheaper rate than what they were billing me.STORE OWNER STEP IN TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT THE TWO PEOPLE YOU CURRENTLY HAVE ESPECIALLY THE LADY THAT WEARS RING IN ALL HER FINGERS HAS NO BUSINESS BEING IN YOUR STORE. She is impatient unprofessional and insulting.

Good ups store, friendly and helpful staff.I was just there this morning, there was no line and the staff were great; very friendly and helpful. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, I've been going here for years and I've never had a problem.

I’m honestly not sure I’ve ever encountered a more rude employee than Mary. She will be incredibly rude and then throw in a random sugar coat to try and take the edge off whatever harsh thing she just said. I not only experienced her terrible customer service towards myself, but with multiple other interactions with other customers. I will truly never come back to this store.
