I rent a U-Haul trucks and trailers at least twice a month and I have never rented this location but the staff was amazing and Justin is a fantastic manager. I will definitely go out of my way to come back here when I can!

Y’all make sure to read the uhaul print in their web. A deposit is paid for upon rental, a valid drivers licensee, and a CREDIT card is needed to be placed down prior to rental. Everything is on the WEBSITE so save the hard working employees some time by reading, and getting yourselves prepared.Had a great experience here. A young man that was working Saturday 12/23 made it a smooth sailing for me. Excellent customer service would recommend for anyone needing to make a short in town trip. If long moves is what you’re looking for definitely get the $11 dollars add on coverage.

I got a rental and storage unit. When the gentleman helped me with my storage he failed to inform the storage access hours. I was there 40min after hours and stuck with a rental. I explained my situation and they were so nice and extended my rental time with no charge. Thank you again!

We moved from Austin to Phoenix. We had most of our stuff loaded into a POD and shipped but decided to have a hitch put on our Volvo XC60 and take a few things in a trailer as the POD would not be delivered for a few weeks. Because my father had used U-Haul to put a hitch on his truck, I decided to do the same. I was charged $687 for the hitch install when I scheduled the appointment.Halfway through the installation process, I got a call saying they could not install the wiring on the hitch because the wiring on the Volvo was too small. I said that since they could not hook up the wiring, it was pointless to have the hitch installed. I said that I would be happy to pay for the labor that was done but I did not want a useless hitch on the back of my vehicle. I was told they would refund the cost of the hitch and wiring that was not able to be done.As I said before, they charged nearly $690 for the installation but only refunded me $270 and still installed the hitch. So, now, I have a useless hitch on my Volvo that I cannot use because there is no wiring for the break lights on the trailer.Add to that, I had to rent a truck rather than a trailer which was nearly twice the cost. I was in between a rock and a hard place because of the timing. We had no time to dispute this because the install happened on Friday and we left town the very next day.I have used U-Haul many times in the past and I would have to say this is the first time I’ve had such a negative experience. Thank God we don’t live in Austin anymore because I would not use them EVER! Also, whenever any of our Austin friends mention moving, will discourage them from using any Austin based U-Haul team. They will rip you off!

I scheduled my pickup online for 7am on a Sunday. The early morning was important for my move and I chose this location specifically because others did not have the 7am time slot. The morning of my rental arrives and I follow the directions to open the lockbox and retrieve my key, but there is no key. The store doesn’t open for another 2 hours (9am on Sundays) so we’re all alone, no key, no one around. I got on the phone with customer service for 35 minutes and she gives me the code to the other lockboxes, but still no key. Someone just forgot to put it there. The representative looks to see if another location has a rental ready that I can reserve by phone (since everywhere is closed), but what she doesn’t seem to realize and what I try to explain to her is that I’ll have the same issue at any other location because they wouldn’t have known to leave a key this morning. She was not very communicative and several times I had to ask “are you still there?” after minutes of silence. We both seem to realize that I’m SOL until a real human arrives. Then at 8am someone arrives to start opening the store, so we tell her about our reservation then lo and behold, she presents the key. So now we’re an hour behind for 5 hour a rental that had already started ticking an hour ago. There’s only 1/4 tank of gas (is that a normal uhaul policy?) and I’m never prompted on my uhaul app to submit mileage or gas levels so we just take pictures for evidence in case they try to get on us about miles or gas. When we’re finished, I return the keys and inquire about uhaul’s policy which is “reservation guaranteed or $50.” I thought this was a chance to at least get some cash back for my ordeal. Well apparently not, as she said the $50 was “only if you don’t get a truck.” Seriously? I think the manager gave us $25 off though because they felt bad. The least they could do. We had a chaotic, rushed morning on top of an already stressful activity. Simply because one person forgot to put the key in the lock box. It might’ve been an honest mistake, but you’d think they could have done this one simple thing. 2 stars because at least the truck worked. Find another uhaul or trucking service. This place blows.

Booked a truck for 8 hours online multiple days in advance. I show up and they say I need it back in 3 hours. I told them I booked 8 and wouldn't be able to make that happen, they told me that it was reserved for 3hours and 15 minutes from now and it's "too bad". They were easily the least helpful UHaul employees I've ever worked with. Canceled my reservation.

They let the "climate controlled" storage sit at 100+ degrees for days. Half my stuff is going to be ruined now. This was such a mistake. I am NEVER using Uhaul storage again. They don't care about anything. If I didn't want to keep my stuff, I would have thrown it away, not paid a hundred bucks to store it every month!

First off, they had what I needed for the best price. And the flexibility to let me switch my reservation at the counter. A+ for value and service.I interacted directly with four different employees, and they were all outstanding. I witnessed two other employees and their interactions with customers and they were also outstanding. The people working at this location were 100% fantastic.But they could have used another person at the counter to get them through the morning rush. I would up waitng in line nearly half an hour at opening, despite having a reservation. The counter was backed up and the line was long (which also led to periods where the guys working the trucks were having to wait). A third person working the counter would've stremlined the process and led to much less wasted time on the part of both customers and employees.

TL;DR Thank you Justin (manager) for looking into my incorrect damage charge and fixing everything right away.I have used Uhaul in the past for larger apartment moves and never had an issue. I rented a pickup truck Sunday for a furniture pick up and returned the truck with the key drop 1 hour after they closed. I then wake up the next day to see a $400 damage charge that I did NOT do. There was some white paint damage on the truck before I used it; and, since no employee checked or said anything about it, I thought everything was ok. I called the manager, Justin, the next day at Uhaul and explained the situation. The incorrect charges were dropped. Justin, I really appreciate you looking into this and refunding me so quick. I would use uhaul again, just DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE BEFORE PICTURES!

Fastest team I have ever experienced not only that very knowledgeable. I felt like family there. They put my truck hitch on in less than 20 min. Thank you to the service receptionist there and their mechanics I will do business with them again soon.

Mr. Villareal (owner/manager I think) was super helpful when our tow hitch wasn't lighting up our trailer. He worked us in quick and replaced the fuse asap.
