I was referred here about the possibility of Chartreuse in stock. I came in and didn’t see it on the shelf so i asked the two women at the counter if they had any I could purchase.I then got scolded about asking, and one of the women said “you have to tell me” who referred me. And when i said i preferred not to share my source, “no, you have to tell me”.I felt I was nothing but respectful in my inquiry, but feel i was treated very unprofessionally.Perhaps a kind explanation and treating me more like a human would have been best. I understand they were frustrated with customers asking, but I had no idea it was reserved, I have just been looking for a bottle for months now and thought I may have found one. It wasn’t the experience I have been used to from Twin Liquors.I will not be back to this location.

Had the worst experience here, this was the first time that I’ve ever had a bad experience in a liquor store. Christina was extremely rude and standoffish from the time my friend and I entered the store to shop. She did not address us at all and physically took steps back from us when I approached the other cashier to ask for help. She also tried to deny my out of state temporary license and claimed that it wasn’t a legal form of identification. She was argumentative and also claimed that I should have provided my void drivers license to prove my identity. I won’t be shopping here again, this was an exhausting interaction and I’m so disappointed that an employee would treat customers in this manner.

At 8:51 an associate yelled at me and flipped me off through a locked door after informing him that I knew exactly what I wanted and where to find it. This location apparently closes at 8:50, not 9:00. I would completely understand, support, and respect this if and only if this closing time was reflected on the door, website, GOOGLE .... It isn't .. I hate that your panties were sooo bunched up that you felt the need to exhibit such behavior, and that I didn't choose Specs, debs, Gunter's or any of the other 6 liquor stores I passed on my way to this pathetic establishment. This store is a blight on the reputation of Twin Liquors & that associate should consider any occupation outside of sales and customer service. Up yours and finger to you, panty boy.

Wow, apparently I'm not the only one who feels strongly about the neighborhood twins. I started shopping at Rueben's way before these guys bought it, and I think tonight was my last go. Two stars because you have a few great employees, two middle fingers up to the rest who not only say nothing when you say hello, but act like they're doing you a favor by ringing up your overpriced purchase. Bye Felicia.. Gunther's is just down the way and their prices are better, and they're really nice/friendly people. Twin's manager, feel free to inquire as to your a-hole employees.

We just moved to Austin from SA. My first selection to stock up with Spirits was Twin Liquors, it was my go to. After entering the store, I noted 2 individuals behind the counter. (not one employee ask me if I needed help) I was searching out Langers cranberry juice; I favor it with my Cape Cods. While searching, two other shoppers came in and received the red carpet treatment with greetings and kindly asking if they needed help….I wondered why I didn’t receive such service??? Now that Austin is my home, Specs is now my go to. I received very good service and found the spirits and wine I was searching out. Thanks Specs!, always my go to in Houston and now Austin.
