During a recent visit to Turquoise Trading Post, I was in search of a high-quality ring for my mother's birthday. Nikky provided exceptional customer service from the moment I arrived, promptly presenting an array of ring options. With much patience, she dedicated over 30 minutes to helping me navigate through the assortment, ensuring we found the perfect stone and size. Nikky's friendly demeanor elevated the entire experience! Ultimately, I departed with a stunning turquoise ring, as pictured on the left. The establishment has a wonderful selection of items, reasonably priced, and staffed by very friendly individuals. I can't wait to come back!

Loved loved loved this Native American Jewelry boutique! I had a great time shopping with their crew for a couple of hours. Friendly, fun, and knowledgeable staff who are extremely gracious and helpful. They have a very large selection of beautiful pieces with high-quality turquoise (from a good variety of mines) and excellent craftsmanship (bracelets, earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces).I have been collecting Native American jewelry for years, so I know what I'm looking for, and they had some very unique pieces worthy of adding to my collection.Prices are reasonable and range from inexpensive into the thousands for the highest quality items. The shop is in a strip mall, but don't let that deceive you. There is a lot here for the serious collector. They feature some items online as well and will ship.I will be back every time I am in Austin.!!!!

Dont be fooled by the strip mall location. This place is an authentic Austin treasure. TTP has THE best quality silver jewelry (with/without stones), a friendly, knowledgable and no-pressure staff, and terrific prices. I have (and have given) beautifully crafted rings, earrings, necklaces, pins and belt buckles from TTP, with exquisite pieces from renown artists from New Mexico and elsewhere.

If I could leave a 0 I would, as a full blood Native American I was eager to visit this store. But unfortunately it was a horrible experience. Sadly, the ladies working there were following me around in the store. I’m assuming thinking I was going to steal? I look around & there’s plenty of other (Caucasian) people shopping around yet their attention was fixated on me. I ended the browsing quicker than I wanted to just because I felt so uncomfortable. Hardly wanted to spend my money here. Will be purchasing from a GENUINE native store.

One of our favorite places to shop for unique and beautiful gifts. Lived nearby for years and just went back after about five years and could not believe how perfect it still was. Treat yourself and go!

This is such a fun souvenir store to visit! They have a wide selection of native Americans artworks, potteries, jewelry and outfits. From bookmarks, shoes, necklaces, paintings, to marble stones, you'll find a great variety of art pieces inside the store. They also have a lot of Minnetonka shoes (for both adults and kids). The only reason I give 3 stars is because most of the stuffs I saw are a little overpriced. For instance, a piece of wood animal bookmark costs $7, and a stone bear costs $260. A mini accessories dish costs &10. I'd still recommend to ppl who are looking for Native American or local souvenirs though. So many treasures and cute stuffs.

I brought in my broken squash blossom necklace to be restrung. It was repaired in 1, maybe 2, days. I came back in to pay for the repair and the owner wouldn't take any money!! He even added a few beads that were lost when it broke. He said he'd rather I spend my money on something new for myself. I almost cried. I will definitely be back to shop when I'm not on my lunch break. The old school kindness melted my heart. An excellent local business to support. Thank you TTP!

Great gift store!! This store is " museum" like with Native American art , jewelry, sacred pieces for rituals and traditions. Leather pouches. Stones. Candles. Wood carvings, Native drums, feathers, hatchets, spear heads, dream catchers, so much cool stuff. You'll be glad to know this store exists in Austin. I am such a fan of walking thru this store.
