Do not leave your kids in her care! I was surprised by the lack of attention for the 3 children whose parents had left them for the childcare services. Multiple times I helped a child ~1 year old not fall while climbing on and off and standing up in a doll stroller. Over an hour, I observed the owner sitting at her computer and seemingly not looking up to even check on the 3 children she was to be watching. At one point, she did join them for a snack for maybe five minutes and then left the two older children (between ages 2-4) at the table eating until they decided to get up and play again. I was shocked how little she even acknowledged these children in her care.Furthermore, the place was overrun with very used and seemingly dirty toys. My child had fun but there were so many toys that he couldn’t push a cart or ride a toy without other items getting in the way and there were too many toys to allow him to focus on one for more than a few moments. Based on the other negative reviews, I wouldn’t be shocked if the owner has some sort of seemingly logical rebuttal but these are my observations. I don’t typically write reviews but felt the need to let other parents know of her lack of care for those children left under her supervision. If she wants to continue this service, she should hire someone specifically for that purpose as one would be unable to adequately serve multiple customers and watch very young children simultaneously.

I used to bring my nanny kids here regularly, until our last visit when the owner was especially rude to me and another young mom. The lack of organization is a problem- there are toys that are “off limits” though it’s not clear which ones (could easily be solved with labels). I love the concept of toy rentals/recycling, but I’m not interested in being reprimanded for not following undisclosed rules. Won’t be going back.

The indoor facility is a great option for this Texas heat. We were first timers and my granddaughter immediately began to play. We were charged $7 to play and Immediately reminded to only play with toys on the floor. Toys on shelves are for members only. We headed outside to see the playground. It definitely needs some TLC. Maybe have someone come and blow the area and wash the toys down. The sandbox was quite empty. Head back inside and the owner is still in front of her computer. She does not interact with you after you pay. I tried to get info on drop off and she asked me to speak to another lady about daycare. This lady sent me back to the owner. She then stated that she needs to clarify the difference and after the brief explanation (which she seemed bothered i asked), I stated I would just search the website and she was fine with this. It's a good concept but people that work with children or run this type of facility should interact more with children/parents/customers. While asking about drop off she seemed frustrated that my granddaughter was touching the "for sale" toys. I decided at this point it was time to head out.

Took my 21 m/o boy to Toybrary and we had the BEST time! The woman at the desk was so sweet and informative and the space was built specifically for toddlers. With available toys, carts, slides, sensory activities, and healthy snack choices and places to sit for parents! My tot and I spent about 2 hours there and had a great nap to follow! Perfect indoor space for some soft and interactive playtime.we came from out of town and we will absolutely go back the next time we're in Austin! A must-do for any traveling parent!!

Visited the Toybrary today and the kids had a blast during their special event. Super engaging for all I have an 8yo, 6yo, 2.5yo and a 13month old. The girls enjoyed the arts and crafts and my littles had fun playing with all the toys. Definitely worth checking out.

LOVE this treasure of a play space! The attention to detail and complete circle of play is wonderful. There are stocked play stations. And regular special "events". WIFI available & a few comfy seats for adults to sit back & enjoy watching their kids have a blast...AND the AC is nice and cool.

We LOVE Toybrary! It is such a fun place! We typically do Drop-In play. It’s always a relaxing but fun atmosphere for my boys. There are so many fun and unique toys to play with. There’s also a great backyard space. They also do super fun events throughout the week! Definitely one of our go-to places for young children.

My twins and I love Toybrary! Unlike some of the overwhelmingly large play spaces in the area, it’s a nicely contained place with so many fun toys, and a great outdoor play yard too. We have a membership and enjoy picking new toys to borrow, and we also had a great birthday party there. I appreciate that sometimes there are lots of little ones there, and other times only one or two. The owner Liza is very friendly.

I love having the Toybrary in my toolbox of places to bring my toddler where she can play and explore the spaces safely. Liza and the other caregivers there have been warm and supportive. Most weeks we both leave with with new friends!!

We have had lovely experiences at the Toybrary! The owner is so kind and is so interactive with customers and the children. There is a plethora of toys for children of all ages to choose from as well as creative activities on certain days of the week. Today we did finger painting, and in past visits we have done themed arts and crafts, and during Christmas, Santa came to visit the kids! Each time we have come, the Toybrary has gone above and beyond to create an interactive and fun experience. There’s also a backyard area with toys, bikes, and outdoor activities.Highly recommend the Toybrary if you ever want to beat a hot Texas summer afternoon, or rainy day!

I just don't feel like this place is really worth the money. Maybe if it was bigger or more spread out but I kind of felt our kid got maybe an hour in a backyard for $12

This Texas summer heat makes me desperate for any indoor activities that'll keep my 16-month-old occupied. Toybrary delivers! There are 3 ways to enjoy Toybrary: 1) Drop-in play for a mere $7! What a deal! 2) A monthly membership where you can check out toys like you do books from a library - also includes unlimited drop-in play. 3) Childcare, which I wasn't interested in so I don't know too much about. The indoor space isn't huge but in a good way! You don't have to chase your kiddo all over the place. It's like 3 big rooms in a house with toys galore. We were there for 2 hours and my kiddo never got bored because there was always something new to explore. It was 102 degrees outside so we didn't even look outside but I believe there are ride-on toys out there. One thing I appreciated is that it felt calmer than some of the other indoor play spaces available in Austin - it wasn't super crowded and the music was relaxed and at a medium volume. I just feel exhausted when I go to those other places where they're blasting kiddie music and children are screaming and running everywhere. Toybrary definitely had a chill vibe which I so loved. There was juice (maybe snacks) for sale which we didn't take advantage of but it's good to know it's available! We're not signed-up for the membership but we might! I did notice that they had a cabinet for Loveevery rentals and we purchase those toys from the Lovevery subscription so Toybrary might be a better deal for us! We'll see. Parking isn't fun but it's available! I have two things I wish for Toybrary: 1) Just one or two more comfy chairs for parents as the two there were occupied the whole time and I would have enjoyed giving my butt a break from the floor for a little bit. 2) I wish they were open on Sundays. As a full-time working parent who sends her kid to daycare, I try to really take advantage of the weekend to get in some quality time but so many kid activities are only during the work day or are closed on Sundays.

OMG!! We Love Toybrary! I'm a mother and a nanny and I love bringing my kids here! When it's too hot for the playground, or too much rain to be outdoors, Toybrary is the place to play! You pay one price and can play all day. You can also bring your own snacks. Lot's of toys to enjoy. Tons to check out if you're a member, and also new toys for purchase. The owner Liza is super sweet and very patient with the children. You can tell she loves what she does. I've been enjoying Toybrary for over 5 years now! Thank you Liza!

We love Toybrary & the owner Liza. My son looks forward to going here to play every week and we’re always welcomed warmly. There’s hundreds of toys to choose from and weekly activities during the week to keep a toddler entertained. We’ve been members for almost a year now.
