We had so much fun! We stayed, played and ate during our five hour visit. We made new friends and enjoyed dressing up, and all the fun toys. We will definitely be back. Thank you Liza for making us feel so welcome.

My kids love this place! We live 4 hours away and visited Austin for my husband's work event. This place saved my sanity because it's HOT outside. I love that you can stay until your kids are done for the day lol the owner is very nice too!

Senoah Richards gonna try to keep this short lolSo i saw a groupon for toybrary memberships and was intrigued. I called to ask questions bc the website and groupon details were vague and I was told that all the services were included in membership and there were some select events free with membership and that the place gets cleaned frequently. So im like “let’s buy the annual membership!” (I technically bought this as a backup to our daycare or childcare so that i could handle emergency work meetings which are 30 min or an hour tops; one of the services is something like “we have private rooms to work out of while your kiddo plays”)We show up right at opening for our first (and only) day. The place is not clean or organized. This older lady sitting at the front is checking people in and then turns to me and says “drop in rate is (x)” and i got “i actually have a membership” and she says “no you dont” and i say i bought it on groupon and she says “show me”. Dry and short as can be. (Plot twist: turns out she’s the owner, and a few moms from daycare after i shared this story said she’s known to be rude). Well there’s other people, like 3 fams so she asks to hold onto my phone credit card and id and that she’ll check me in later and to step off to the side…. Im like um ok… but my little ran off to explore so i followed and assumed she’d come find me (it’s not a huge place). As Im walking around Im looking at the toys and I can see things have definitely not been wiped down in awhile, and some toys were old and glued together. One of the wooden horses another little was playing with broke off at one of the hand holds and exposed a rusty nail. I took it up to the owner and she said “oh yea, this one breaks a lot” and just left it on the floor while she walked away to set up some paints or something. I asked if I could have my cc, id, and phone back and she said “oh yea, it’s on the desk” (she left it sitting on the front counter where everyone walks in and out of) so i go grab it. I came back and asked her questions about the services and where the room was you could work out of and she says it’s extra. I tell her “oh i was told it was included in the membership” and she says the membership (which is 600 bucks) is to borrow 3 toys at a time. All the toys are outdated minus maybe a small table with a handful of lovevery toys…. I kinda laughed and said “is there a calendar to see which events come with the membership and she says “you have to pay additional for the events; if i have to pay for it, you have to pay for it” (word for word). We stayed maybe an hour total and then left. I called that afternoon and asked if i could refund my membership and that i would pay the drop in fee for the visit we had and she denied it but ends with “but i do hope to see you and your son back, he was so sweet” and hangs up.I tried getting groupon to refund but she denied it (they have to get her approval) and now im just disputing it with my bank.

Ms. Liza is amazing and has cultivated a magical atmosphere for any child. I take my son here all the time. It is a great way for him to interact with other children of different cultures and ethnicities, free of judgment. Children are encouraged to dress up and be themselves. She also has morning messy event as well as holiday events which make a membership worth it.

I am so happy we found this place! My grandkids did not want to leave because there was so much to do! There is also an outdoor playground. Parents can relax knowing their kids are playing safe. I highly recommend and we will be back!

Smelly and depressing! I took my 2 year old and we didn’t like it at all! It’s so small and the sofas are so dirty.

We visited Austin for a week and LOVED the Toybrary!! There were endless toys and our two toddlers had a blast. It’s super clean and Liza and the other staff are very kind and fun. We had zero qualms dropping off our kids at this new and amazing place! Highly recommend it for anyone needing a date night or break from your kids. I wish there were a Toybrary in every city!

Do not leave your kids in her care! I was surprised by the lack of attention for the 3 children whose parents had left them for the childcare services. Multiple times I helped a child ~1 year old not fall while climbing on and off and standing up in a doll stroller. Over an hour, I observed the owner sitting at her computer and seemingly not looking up to even check on the 3 children she was to be watching. At one point, she did join them for a snack for maybe five minutes and then left the two older children (between ages 2-4) at the table eating until they decided to get up and play again. I was shocked how little she even acknowledged these children in her care.Furthermore, the place was overrun with very used and seemingly dirty toys. My child had fun but there were so many toys that he couldn’t push a cart or ride a toy without other items getting in the way and there were too many toys to allow him to focus on one for more than a few moments. Based on the other negative reviews, I wouldn’t be shocked if the owner has some sort of seemingly logical rebuttal but these are my observations. I don’t typically write reviews but felt the need to let other parents know of her lack of care for those children left under her supervision. If she wants to continue this service, she should hire someone specifically for that purpose as one would be unable to adequately serve multiple customers and watch very young children simultaneously.

I used to bring my nanny kids here regularly, until our last visit when the owner was especially rude to me and another young mom. The lack of organization is a problem- there are toys that are “off limits” though it’s not clear which ones (could easily be solved with labels). I love the concept of toy rentals/recycling, but I’m not interested in being reprimanded for not following undisclosed rules. Won’t be going back.

The indoor facility is a great option for this Texas heat. We were first timers and my granddaughter immediately began to play. We were charged $7 to play and Immediately reminded to only play with toys on the floor. Toys on shelves are for members only. We headed outside to see the playground. It definitely needs some TLC. Maybe have someone come and blow the area and wash the toys down. The sandbox was quite empty. Head back inside and the owner is still in front of her computer. She does not interact with you after you pay. I tried to get info on drop off and she asked me to speak to another lady about daycare. This lady sent me back to the owner. She then stated that she needs to clarify the difference and after the brief explanation (which she seemed bothered i asked), I stated I would just search the website and she was fine with this. It's a good concept but people that work with children or run this type of facility should interact more with children/parents/customers. While asking about drop off she seemed frustrated that my granddaughter was touching the "for sale" toys. I decided at this point it was time to head out.

Took my 21 m/o boy to Toybrary and we had the BEST time! The woman at the desk was so sweet and informative and the space was built specifically for toddlers. With available toys, carts, slides, sensory activities, and healthy snack choices and places to sit for parents! My tot and I spent about 2 hours there and had a great nap to follow! Perfect indoor space for some soft and interactive playtime.we came from out of town and we will absolutely go back the next time we're in Austin! A must-do for any traveling parent!!

Visited the Toybrary today and the kids had a blast during their special event. Super engaging for all I have an 8yo, 6yo, 2.5yo and a 13month old. The girls enjoyed the arts and crafts and my littles had fun playing with all the toys. Definitely worth checking out.

LOVE this treasure of a play space! The attention to detail and complete circle of play is wonderful. There are stocked play stations. And regular special "events". WIFI available & a few comfy seats for adults to sit back & enjoy watching their kids have a blast...AND the AC is nice and cool.
