How many pet stores are ever featured on a local tourist information center's website? I wouldn't be surprised if no other pet store in the country is also considered a tourist destination. Tomlinson's is a local pet shop specializing in pet products with integrity. The original Tomlinson's was the first locally owned pet store in Austin. Th Burnet Rd store has many things you aren't likely to find at the pet supermarkets. They have private rooms full of supplies where you can wash and dry your dog. They have an engraving station where you can make tags for your pet. And, they have caring, attentive staff. Right now, they are matching every pet food purchase with a food donation to our local pet shelters. And if you go in the playroom you can help socialize local kitties looking for their forever homes. Going to Tomlinson's reminds you that you love animals in a city of people who love animals too.

I've shopped @ Tomlinson's for close to 30yrs for all my cats' needs & I've always been satisfied...I love supporting a local, small business as well so I always check there first when I need to purchase supplies. And thanks for all you do for the animal rescue groups!

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a large variety of dog and cat food and lots of treats. Some of their rawhide type treats are pretty pricey and I would probably buy on Chewy or something but the food is about average. They even have a litter refill station which I thought was neat.

Love this place! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Great selection of chewies and raw and frozen healthy dog foods. When our dog decided to be a picky eater for a few weeks they accepted all the food she wouldn’t eat as returns, even when opened. Pretty great!

Went in with a lot of questions about cat treats and cat food. Rose was the most helpful person I have ever talked to about this subject. It is so confusing to research the best foods and feeding practices online. She knew specific ingredients off the top of her head on different products and why it was good or bad. Even looked up a cat food from Petco to check their ingredients that they don't even carry. I'm really happy with the products she suggested so far. Gotta keep these cats happy n healthy. Thanks!

This review is for the self-wash doggy grooming station. I was able to make an appointment online for the same day. The cost is $20 for 30 minutes at the station. They had everything that you would need - towels, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, ear cleaner, deranging spray, doggy cologne, and brushes. It was very clean. I can't say my dog enjoyed it because she hates baths, but I thought it was convenient and easy. I'd definitely recommend this to any dog owner out there.

Really cool store, was my first time and I purchased 3 items for my cat and loved the selection of fridge food they have for pets as well ,curious to try it out but not sure.

Super friendly staff and they're always really friendly with my dog when I bring him in. They have a dog scale near the register which is great since I like to keep tabs on his weight without having to go into the vet's office each time.They have a whole area of chews for the dogs and I'll sometimes just grab one and give it to my dog to chew on while we're in the store. Of course, I let the cashier know when I go to check out and they don't mind at all. The store is always clean.

Our 4-legged kid's favorite store is Tomlinson's. They carry a great variety of treats, snacks, bones, chews, and other cool products just for canines and felines that the other big pet stores don't have. Their prices are also very competitive and even lower on many similar items. The people that work here seem to genuinely love animals and their job. I spent several minutes one day showing two employees pictures of our "kids" at their request. How could I refuse?

This stores staff couldn't be more helpful without being pushy which these people were not. I've never had a better expirence anywhere. I highly recommend this store to everyone who has a pet.

Awesome experience! I just would like to say thank you to Ross, a very kind and patient person who very graciously helped me find food for a very finicky and sick senior animal. My girl recently had a stroke and she has been so picky about what she will eat or won't be and I showed up and just all kinds of tears and Ross was absolutely amazing!! Helped me select multiple options that so far so good! Actually walked through the aisles with me and helped me understand what was in each item made fantastic recommendations and I really can't say enough good things about the staff here! There were even kittens to watch that helped me smile through my tears as I was a bit emotional. These guys have great products and one thing that they do that I haven't found a single other pet store to do is they will take back food items even if opened and partially used. I have not heard of a single other place even remotely offering anything like this. That is one heck of a satisfaction guarantee.... Given that we never can really tell what our pets may or may not like and things are getting a little tough these days for everybody I think, it's wonderful to know that there's a place that won't just take your money and then oh too bad so sad for you if there's an issue. I really hope more people come check out this place they have a lot of neat things really healthy treats and amazing food options. And they have some of the most cutest toys you've ever seen as well as all kinds of neat gear you never knew you needed until you looked at it LOL.Shout out to Ross, you were nothing short of amazing yesterday thank you so much. You single-handedly helped restore a little bit of my faith in humanity, so big air hugs to you ?

Lots of great things for your pets! The ppl were so helpful! I brought my pup in to find some shoes to protect her paws from the hot cement in the summer. They let me try different ones on her and walk around the store. I
