I took two of my cars here once. The owner was nice and helpful, and we agreed to do both in the same day for exterior detailing. The first car was great, but when I brought in the second car, I picked it up at the end of the day. The license plate frame was completely broken, and the car was so clearly untouched besides that. It was like they had not even done anything to the car. And since it was close to closing time they just rushed me to pay and I took the same car I took in except with a broken license plate frame. Weird. I got scammed. Maybe it's because I'm really young he did this to me, I'm not sure. Also notice how they don't reply to any bad reviews because they don't care.

George and his team (including his own family) were wonderful! I recently adopted a black ‘97 4-Runner that had seen better days. The previous owner was a smoker, so the interior especially needed some work. In 24 hours Wax Shack cleaned every surface, eliminated the odors, and brought the shine back to the paint. It is gorgeous! They were communicative, prompt, and friendly. Highly recommend!

This places offers an okay cleaning of your car, not detail like they claim, and the prices are too high for just a clean. I paid $300 for just the interior of my Nissan Rogue to be cleaned of broken glass from a break in. The majority of the glass had been vacuumed by SafeLite, so there was only a few small pieces left and micro shards in the fabric to be lifted. They shampooed all the fabrics and wiped everything down, but my car was definitely not ‘detailed’. Sure it’s all pretty from afar, but there’s still pockets of dirt, spots that need more attention like the steering wheel and gear shift, and just things you think would be truly cleaned for a $300 interior only car detail. Customer serivce is fine, the inside of the shop is not meant to wait in and they do not have formal reception so you just have to flag someone down for help. Dissappointing to say the least.
Photos are taken right after a 3 hour ‘detail’.

The Wax Shack detail service is better than Genie Carwash. I'm very thorough when I detail my car myself and Wax Shack got real close to perfection. I visited WS for an overspray removal and am satisfied with the service

I can’t give George and his team enough praise. My car was a disaster inside and had a toxic mold problem. They made my car like new and I no longer feel allergic to my vehicle. He is so kind and they were wonderful to work with.

I definitely will not be returning to the Wax Shack and would not recommend anyone else bring their vehicle unless they change something about their services. They advertise being very detail-oriented, which is what you expect from a car detailer; however, they were not very detailed. They did not clean my center console leaving several visible spots, there were dog hairs left behind (I don’t own a dog), stains on my seats after they dried, and several areas in my car (steering wheel, center console, etc.) were left sticky when they were not sticky when I dropped it off. There was also a faint smell of wet dog on the wet seats. Again, I’ve never had a dog in my car. I will say the outside looked pretty nice, but overall it was not worth $400.
P.s. I leaned against one of the wet seats and got a bleach stain on my pants which was very annoying on top of everything.

I am so grateful for the Wax Shack! I recently purchased a vehicle from an out of state dealer. The vehicle looked pristine in the photos, but had brown discolorations all over the white paint upon delivery. George was so helpful in trouble-shooting the issue and getting my car looking pristine again. What a huge relief. Could not be more appreciative!

Went in for a black wax special @$299. They missed a lot of areas, and i still have swirls. Maybe reduced 30%. They put on excessive amounts of tire shine. Both sides of the car have oil film now. I'm not really happy about the results.

They did a great job detailing my car. Four weeks later it still looks great. This was my first time using The Wax Shack but will use their services again.

Summary: Watch out for anger issues if something goes wrong. I was getting interior detail steam / shampoo, ozone for vents (was told smell would last 4 hours) After picking it up smell was strong, trash in back right seat missed. I returned the car to clean the backseat dirt that was missed. They dumped an extremely strong cleaner in the backseat of the car where the dirt was. I later found out this was a fungicide. I got a migraine driving home. I don't say that lightly, I had to pull over. I literally couldn't get back in my car at this point, the chemicals were too strong. A friend who routinely works on cars offered to drop the car back off with them. He got sick as well from the fumes within the car. They steam cleaned the car but were unable to get the strong chemical fumes from the car. Brought the car back next day as I literally couldn't drive it without getting migraines now. The owner got upset with me when I asked about name of fungicide that was used. I had natural cleaners that works for me in cleaning everything else. He deflected saying that's the problem (hasn't bothered me in every other car I used them in) He began to curse me out as he would talk himself up in anger. Then another employee ran up to the conversation and cussed me out too. I didn't raise my voice once. A female that worked there did speak to me in a calm manner. I had to get a new car because of this as the strong odors of the fungicide never got out of my car.Things happen that are unfortunate, the reason I'm leaving this review is bc I was cussed out, and gaslighted to believe I was the problem once they realized they couldn't fix it.

I brought in a 10-year-old car I had just purchased for interior detail and engine bay cleaning. I did a little research before I brought the car in. I had decided to go with the Wax Shack because of reviews and having known of the business for years. Regarding the detail, it was alright. They missed some things, including air vents. My wife looked through the work and realized they had not cleaned out the center console and the visors. She got out our cleaning supplies and did the job herself. We were both disappointed that those areas were missed, and even today, as I drove the car, I could see dirt and dust in the corners of the plastic trim. Regarding the engine cleaning, I was happy when I picked up the car, but when I went over to the mechanic to boast about how clean the engine was, he quickly pointed out how dirty the metal was; that was the point of the cleaning. If you were to ask me what the difference is between a $150 detail and a $280 detail, I would have hoped to say a lot! Unfortunately, I can say that. I would rather have spent the $150 for the detail and kept the rest in my wallet. Nice people and they ment well but they did not earn my return business.

George was so nice and my car looks amazing! Couldn’t be happier. My car looks better than the day I bought it.
