We are very happy with our experience at The Goddard School of Austin. The teachers and office staff are friendly and knowledgable. We know our child is learning and is loved and well cared for while she is at school. We would highly recommend (and have) others registering their children at this location. We started our child at this school when she was 4 months old.

We love the Goddard school. Both our kids (2 1/2 and 8 mo) go here and they both love it. They are always doing fun activities and I like that they keep us informed of what is going on with newsletters and daily through an app. The teachers and all the staff are very friendly and professional, know all the kids by name and are always happy to answer any questions I might have. Highly recommend this school.

My son Anthony has been attending The Goddard School since he was 8weeks old and now is 3.5 and we have had a wonderful experience. The teacher are welcoming and very supportive. The environment is warm and so very colorful. My son is always excited about going to school in the morning and sometimes we have trouble getting him to leave. My husband is always empress about how much he has learned and the information he comes home with. All we see is growth in our son every day. We are so proud and grateful our son is able to attend The Goddard School in South Austin.

We love this school. We currently live in Kyle, but drive to Austin. We have tried 3 other daycares in the past and had so much disappointment with communication and retention of teachers. Goddard has been so great communicating with us; from a parent brought cups cakes and dress up days, to teachers moving classrooms or in the rare occasion a teacher leaves, they share with us why. It has been worth every minute of the drive and every penny spent. We trust our daughter is safe and growing in a healthy environment.

Our experience at Goddard has been amazing. The teachers and staff are raising our kids and loving them day in and day out. Communication is top-notch. Pick up and drop off is secure and easy. They even handled a global pandemic with very few shutdowns. Parent Night Out is a nice bonus! What else could we ask for? We never worry about our kids at Goddard and we have total confidence in their systems and policies and people.

I feel incredibly fortunate that my kids go to Goddard School on Frate Barker. Teachers do an amazing job caring for the kids, educating the kids and directing the kids. I am so happy with the development of my children. Another noticeable bonus is an impressive community of parents who are invested in their children's development.

My son (2 now) loves going here! It's every parents' most ideal situation; the entirety of the staff interacts with you and your child to make everyone feel heard, valued, and safe. They always keep us 100% informed and they genuinely care. You can't manufacture that and you can't fake it.I was a first time mom putting my baby who was just shy of 4 months in a new school and they made it so effortless and helped to guide us along the way .Seriously cannot recommend this location enough! You will not find a more nurturing staff. We love Goddard!Watts family

Goddard School has been amazing for my son. Before Goddard, he was home with me for 2.5 years. Transitioning him to daycare would be hard but Goddard staff really helped me and kept encouraging me that it would get easier as time went on. Now, my son loves his teachers and friends and looks forward to going to daycare to learn! I can't thank Goddard enough for all they have done for me and my son! Moments we both will cherish forever!

It is hard to know what to expect from a school if you are new to schools. We just assumed the Goddard School was like all schools…but it is not. We know this now since we quit the Goddard School and started with another one about 3 miles away and have had a totally different experience.Just know that the Goddard School infant room is chaos. One of the ladies was always so flustered. Babies always, always, always crying. Bright florescent lights on constantly. Music playing all of the time. Babies just laying around on the floor. 5 month old babies “holding bottles” and “feeding” themselves. Babies in the cribs crying and not being soothed in any way. Pacifiers overused. Babies sitting looking at a mirror on the wall crying. No one ever looked happy there! Our baby was miserable and always red and swollen and voice was hoarse from crying all day. It was awful. We are so happy now that we are no longer there. My co-worker’s baby had the exact same negative experience and I tried to push it out of my mind but…Trust your intuition! The Goddard School did not feel right and it was not right.

Our daughter started in the infant room when she was just shy of 3 months, and I remember dropping her off like it was yesterday. The teachers got smiles out of her for every photo they sent that day, which completely turned around an emotionally tough day for me.She went all the way through her preschool graduation, when they put her and her classmates in caps and gowns for a ceremony with all of the parents. It has been an absolutely amazing journey for her, and worth every penny. The teachers have all been so caring and engaged, and I’m so grateful for how wonderful her time at Goddard was. My daughter has developed into such a kind and empathetic person and we absolutely credit the school as much as our own parenting. As far as a preschool goes, it’s incredible. They practice reading and writing, and have show and share every Friday, which really developed my daughter’s confidence and belief in her ideas as worth sharing. They do splash days and foam parties outside in the summer, and many themed dress up days that the teachers love as much as the kids. My favorites were always pajama day and pirate day. There’s plenty of free play time with STEM toys, yoga, dancing, arts and crafts, and examining hapless bugs and earthworms with the misfortune of being caught on the playground. Her preschool teacher read Charlotte’s Web and The Wizard of Oz to the class over the course of multiple weeks each, which took an impressive amount of time and focus for everyone. If I may do a bit of parental bragging, my daughter is going into kindergarten a reader and a lover of all things science and art.Equally important, she’s a happy little girl who loves to learn, play, help others, and make friends. Goddard set the bar very, very high, and as hard as it was, when I dropped her off at kindergarten this morning, I knew she was going to be fine.
