Great selection of hosiery in all colors. Great service provided by Rachel S. She really knew what compression strength would work best.. Highly recommend. its in a strip center but don't let that fool you..

I've shopped at this business since the 1990's. I found out from the staff at my first visit the name of a local doctor that literally saved my ability to continue my work and my life. The owner Mur Anne and her husband are incredibly dedicated, and to this day, they continue to try to help everyone who comes in their doors. They and their staff will go above and beyond any other retail establishment to share accurate, helpful, and pertinent information, on top of providing superb and thoroughly kind customer service. In the hundreds of times I have interacted with these folks by now (phone or in person) they have all been unfailingly committed to helping me and the other customers that I've seen them assist. Sending my best regards to Herb, Susan, Rachel, and Mur Anne. Know that you all have made a HUGE positive difference in the lives of so many people. There is a special place in Heaven for people like y'all. Thank you to all the people who work at this amazing business.

Overpriced and the clerk who waited on me seemed disinterested and disengaged. Not a very wide selection unless you're an athlete, an executive, or Mork. Oh well, not all stores are for everyone. I'll keep shopping.

Small town hospitality and very knowledgeable. Herb helped us. They measure thoroughly to get you the exact product you need. They’re very up front about their return policy. They also have samples out so you can look at colors and textures. Highly recommend.

The Comfort Store is Top Notch. MurAnne & Herb run a fine organization ! On the phone, MurAnne helped with location info for this neophyte Austin resident, and Rachel, who helped me in store, was the epitome of the helpful and gracious sales manager. I, and my ankle doctor, Craig Thomajan, MD, simply cannot recommend them highly enough.

My brother had hip replacement surgery and I was his primary caregiver. I was in search of compression socks for my brother to wear when he returned to work (instead of the horrible white ones he received from the Healthcare professionals). My brother, a doctor, was unable to accompany me to The Comfort Store. However, the staff person at the store, Herb, was extremely knowledgeable and assisted me with obtaining my brother's necessary measurements (over the phone) in order to purchase socks in the correct size and compression. He then helped me select socks in the color preferences my brother desired. My brother cannot stop talking about how wonderful his new compression socks fit and feel. He will definitely be sharing this information with his surgeon as well! Thank you Herb!

The lady who helped me was really nice and helpful. The two pairs of compression socks I got are working well. The bummer is after I bought them I looked up the brand on Amazon and found I could have gotten the same thing for almost half the price. But I wouldn't have known what to get if I hadn't gone there so it was still helpful. But in the future I'll just buy from Amazon. If you have worn the socks at all, the store doesn't do returns. Just exchanges.

Went in with prescription from doc for open toe compression hose. Was given two pairs, one closed toe. Was not told of the difference, other than color. Could not use closed toe, due to knee replacement surgery. When I called to see about refund/replacement, woman acted like I was the one who’d made the error. I’ve never used or had compression hose before and trusted this store to give me prescribed stockings. Woman on phone kept saying that it was my preference, my choice, acting like this could not possibly be the store’s error. Although she finally agreed I could bring them back for replacement, we live 25 miles from store. My impression is that this is an arrogant bunch who act like they are an ancillary service to your doctor’s office. I won’t deal with them again.

Visited the store on Burnet three times. The first time Susan the manager packaged all pieces together, there were the stockings, the triangle tip and the shampoo. The event was unremarkable. When we returned the third time upon entering no one greeted us and left us standing there. We came to be trained for the special way to put those difficult stockings on and off. We found out they would not show us how unless we would purchase yet another pair!!!!! Unfortunately we had no other choice at the time. The sales person appeared to have little knowledge about how to provide service to customers in order to retain them. When we arrived at home we noticed there was no shampoo included as was the first time and there was no triangle slip included which the other purchased pairs had included. A phone call for rectification ended up in a shouting match because Susan the manager yelled right over the speaking customer detailing that nothing is free in the store. She insisted the triangles are three dollars plus which to that point no one had ever mentioned. She also insisted that this customer had requested for this merchandise piece to be deleted which is incorrect. Considering the fact that they are outrageously more expensive (more than double) than we can purchase their merchandise online or even in other stores - their staff should at least display a decent behavior. This store cannot be commended for anyone to spend their hard earned money. It appears even one physician's office mentioned that they are reluctant to recommend the Comfort Store because of their high prices. Well done. The Dr.'s office is protecting their patients. In addition it needs to be mentioned that they appear to be rather rude. A request for the Owner to call us was left unanswered. Ignored. Stay away!

I went to the Comfort Store today, recommended by my OB, and I can tell you I was a little hesitant getting compressions socks. The moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and then Susan and I discussed what was going on with my legs, she then began to measure my foot, calf, and thigh. She was so informative about compression socks and pregnancy. When I left I wasn't worried about my legs anymore. but I am thankful she was there and helped me out.

They gave a friend of mine the wrong size compression socks which caused blistering and more when they should have know better since they measured when I called about socks said bring it in and gave me a new pr which of course they should have apologize for the error but instead charge me more money Because different brand instead should have exchanged them and apologize for this error

My husband was recently discharged from the hospital after a series of issues during which he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. His legs and feet were swelling quite bad and after several days at home following a doctors appointment we made a trip to the store By the time I had let him out at the front door, parked and gotten in myself they had already identified what he needed. They went over how to put on his compression socks and leg wraps and their care. Doctors had been telling us we didn't need to go there and get medical grade socks, but after just 3 days at home with them and seeing the dramatic change in his swelling as well as his overall mode and ability to carry out his overnight job, I am grateful that I decided to go here and get ones that are a proper fit. This has been a big part of his mental recovery from his physical illness. Knowledgeable and fast, I'm grateful for this store

I recently went to the store because they had Jobst Thigh High compression stockings in stock. The owner was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend.
