1 star is over rating. Children's Place has the absolute worst return policy ever. If you didn't get a gift receipt from a gift, you're basically a thief in their eyes. It's not someone's fault they didn't get a gift receipt for clothes that are the wrong size for their kid, you should be able to at least exchange it for something larger. So if you're shopping for a gift for someone, this is not the place to buy from! If you received the wrong size from here, you might as well gift it to someone else, donate it or just trash it. Go to Carter's or Target where they are least understand children grow constantly.

Dani was very kind and helpful with my returns. It was quick ( have your on line acct available ,the order #, and item #. preferably in the original bags.. I love the clothes ,but bear in mind some are large for size. For my new grand babies , my go to has been the baby bundles onesies. Super cute and inexpensive. bt

I have placed online orders with the childrens place on 3 different occasions. Out of the 3 orders placed only 2 ever shipped. When I attempted to call about the packages it was days before I even was able to get a phone number to call. Then they acted as if I was not telling the truth about the package never leaving their warehouse. When they issued me a credit it was to the wrong credit card. Now they want me wait 15 DAYS BEFORE THEY CREDIT MY CARD AND ADMIT THAT THEY CANNOT FIND MY PACKAGE. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR ITEMS.

I've always shopped here since my nephew was born 20 years ago. Although I cannot shop for him anymore, I shop for my God kids.

Super cheap clothing, price, and material. If you are looking for an outfit for your child to wear once, great place to go. Their return policy is terrible. So if you are buying clothes for kids as a gift please give the person a gift receipt. I personally don't appreciate a p*** emoji on my daughter's shirt. Why would they make that for kids? They will not let you exchange without a receipt. Recommendation: Gymboree just has much better made clothes and they are so much cuter than CP.

Absolutely the worst. We came in and made a purchase with some Cash Coupon. Before leaving the store we found something better that we hadn't seen. We simply wanted to exchange and pay the difference. Cashier told ya we couldn't do any exchange and keep the discount. Even though it happened 5 seconds ago. Totally unapologetic and rude about it. I understand policies but in this day of retail death...customer service matters too. These people were the worst.

I received a generous gift of 4 outfits for our 6 month old son from my mother-in-law, all from The Children's Place. Sadly none of them fit because my son is big for his age. When I went to exchange them they asked for my ID, and then ran it through a "3rd party" of which said I was "declined". After talking with The Retail Equation (3rd party) they emailed me a copy of my denial, that said it was due to not having a receipt. This was such a hassle, and the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time! I respectfully asked our parents to not buy any gift for our son, or any of the other grandchildren, from The Children's Place, and plan to donate the outfits.
