I had a pair of luchesses made that took a year from order date to get to me. When they shipped to me, they were absolutely the wrong color. I ordered cognac, they were Tennessee vol orange. They were absolutely turrrrrrible. Luchesse said they could do nothing to helpMe, i could order another pair and hope for the best but they wouldn’t do anythingto expedite the process or guarantee what color they sent. I took them to Texas customBoots, and told Noel what I wanted. After a little time and a couple takes he was able to get the ostrich leg the exact color I wanted. “Good things come to those who wait”. Thanks Noel and Texas boot company. Your work is greatly appreciated.

I've had these boots for the better part of 16 years and had them resoled about 12 years ago. I blew a hole in the sole a couple of years back and never got around to getting them redone until deciding to drop them off with Noel and his compadre. I stopped in to check on them a couple of weeks after dropping them off and they weren't ready, but no worries, I was in the neighborhood anyway and sat with Noel for about an hour and had a nice cold one and talked about life and music in Austin. I finally picked them up earlier this week and they look like new and aare as comfortable as ever. Great work and will always recommend them to everyone.

Good work but a resole will take 8-10 weeks. Don't believe them when they tell you 3 weeks. Second time they've done this to me. Not a happy customer

I'm super satisfied with what I got back from Noel and his team!! I was having a hard time finding boots that fit my feet, so I decided to look into getting my soles redone on my current boots. I'm glad I made that decision, and I'm glad it was with Texas Custom Boots.My boots went from looking cheaply built to looking like antique classics worth hundreds more. Thanks to the team! I'm grateful.

I dropped my boots off here for a re-gluing. I was told it would only take about a week and I'd get a call when they were ready. Two weeks go by and I give them a call and go straight to voicemail. I called again a couple days later and again the day after that. By then it had been 3 weeks and I had no idea what was going on with my boots. Finally get ahold of the owner and he gives excuses as to why he wasn't in the shop and tells me to call back the following Monday. I call again that Monday and he says he's not in the shop again but says he remembers my boots and that they're ready. When I go in to get them I notice they're more snug in the toe than before and there's visible flecks of glue around the edge of the sole. I was also told upon drop off that a cleaning was included in the repair price, but my shoes came back to me with the same toe scuffs and we're still in need of a conditioning. On top of it all I was charged $50 for glue and 3 weeks of waiting, I could've done the same job at home.

Got a phone call back from the owner. Assisted me that he's not ripping me off and that my boots are in line to be made. That makes me happy. I am a person that lives on communication. I ok if it takes longer to get my order as long as their is followup and communication

Just got my pair of boots back from getting them resoled. This is my second pair to have done by Noel and he always knocks it out of the park. He takes his time and does it right. See the before and after a for yourself. Do not hesitate and go here for your boot needs.

Noelle the owner knows his boots and is a personable pleasant person to work with. He was able to fix my custom boots after four other shops wouldn't touch them.

Absolutely amazing boots and experience. Noel (and Michael) took great care of me. How many places are going to happen to have green size 14 cowboy boots? And not only have them, but then work with me on the spot to antique them and make them “mine”. Fantastic boots. Fantastic service. Great shop. Legendary.

Noel is an artist and a craftsman. Did a minor boot stretch and repair on my boots, and they’re Cayman — not an easy material to work with. Highly recommend this place for quality craftsmanship and kind folks.

“New boot goofin!” We snagged this pair of Lucchese’s a couple years ago and decided to return this year and have Noel fix my every day ranch boots, that were just a bit wide in the heels. Quality of work + turn around time + cost = value.Note: the stitching isn’t perfect. (Almost though) We discussed ways to make the modifications and this was the way I chose. Which resulted in less work / cost.*plus, Noel cleaned and dressed them. They look, fit amazing. Thanks!!We will definitely be back to Austin. Noel & Mike are a big reason why.
