I stopped by here to get my car inspected. Upon arrival, the staff person who helped me wasn't very friendly, from MY POV. Then I saw him talking to some other folks, he seemed more friendly. AT ANY RATE, I had to pull my own car into the inspection area of the garage, never had to do that before at any other place, but oh well. I complied. My car DID pass, thankfully, but I also had to pull my car out of the garage to leave. Whew.??♀️While the inspection was done quickly, I doubt I'll go back. I'm all about "customer service."Thanks!!! 03.15.23

I've been coming here almost 20 years and Elie has always been honest helpful and competent. Sometimes he can't fix the problem but has always referred me to someone who can. I trust him and his crew to do the job right every time and at a reasonable price. I just wish they could do alignments!

My car broke down as soon as I got to Austin and I was so upset because I haven't found a good mechanic shop yet. Elie and his team fixed my car in such a short amount of time and fixed it for so much less than what everyone else around was quoting me!! Such genuine people that truly take pride in making their customers happy. 10/10 service and work!

Eli and team are great. My 2015 Nissan Sentra was making a noise (iconic) brought it to MBC for help. Both Eli and his mechanic came outside with me to observe and diagnose the issue. I needed new motor mount(s), and my car has three. Eli suggested replacing one at a time to see if we needed to replace all three to fix the problem as I couldn't save money on labor costs by replacing them all at once due to the position of the mounts, and each motor mount was going to cost $300-$400 (parts+labor). Thankfully, replacing one motor mount fixed the issue! Eli also noticed that my car was making noises going over bumps and informed me that I need new strut assemblies. I now have time to save for that fix and can watch for wear on my tires.Eli is direct, won't mince words or waste your time, and goes above and beyond to help you make informed decisions.

I’ve been coming to these guys for at least 20 or 25 years. They do great work. The only time I felt over-charged was for an oil change. Eli explained that he uses quality oils and since the company’s have gone up on their prices & has to pay more for the oils, he has to charge customers a little more too.

I lived in Austin for about three years and am glad I found this auto repair shop. The owner, Eli, doesn't overcharge you or suggest unnecessary repairs. The team is also very quick and professional. The first time I went I thought Eli was mad at me because he was yelling, but I realized it's just the way he speaks so don't get turned off by it. Eli is incredibly kind to everyone who goes in there and twice fixed a burned-out bulb in my car while he was repairing another part of my car for free. Highly recommend it to anyone in Austin, just remember the shop isn't open on weekends.
