Shop local with the store that has it all. This is my go-to spot for children's gifts, they have so many things to choose from!

This is the epitome of a toy store, with carefully curated selection of what their Buyers. From penny candy to doll houses to the best selection of PlayMobile that I have ever seen under one roof. Grab the kids, experience a nostalgic visit for you and a sense of magic and wonder for the kiddies. DONT stress about the kids begging for things, they have a nice selection of small ticket items .

A flight of fancy for children ages 1-85... what a fun place! Recently stopped by Terra Toys to return a Christmas gift (duplicate), taking a couple of young grandchildren along. It was their first time there. OMG! Sensory overload... LOL So many things to see, and something for everyone. Toys, both old and new, candies, books, stuffed animals, spy kit stuff, crafts, games... we had to talk them into leaving the store, but only with a promise to return soon! LOL Recommend Terra Toys, super fun place to explore...

If you want to get lost in a sensory overload of the cutest toys, trinkets, and potential gifts then Terra Toys is your spot! This store is a local gem filled with a wide variety of items perfect for a gift for a person of any age. They also have a cafe attached to the store which features art by local artists. The next time you have someone to shop for (or just want to shop for yourself) go support this local shop!

This place was super neat to visit! They have just about every kind of toy you can imagine, it was fun to just explore the store! A cool place to stop and check out if you're in the area or are looking for one thing special and unique as a gift.

It was a pleasant first visit! I asked if there was a jellycat section and the staff member led me to the plush section with most of them. Some dragon jellies, unicorn jellies, and huge jelly bunnies were displayed throughout the store. It was like a treasure hunt. They even dedicated a section to ricky the rain frog.

This is not like your Toys R Us from days ago. There is something a little more magical and quant about this store. A more intimate shopping feel. I had never been before, this was my first time here. I wasn't shopping for anything special or birthday. Just popping in to see what it was about. It's not isles of toys on shelf's, but like small rooms organized by child age. Since we are middle of September, they did have a little section right as you walk in with Halloween candies and Halloween small items. And just off to the side, some Halloween costumes. Super cute display and done in a child friendly manner. They have some little shopping carts which is super handy as it frees up your hands so you can interact with the toys. I feel like the toys are from old school basic toys. Not the trendy hi tech toys of today. Fold, wooden blocks, feel, touch and motor skill toys. I love that. They do have a small area where kids can actually sit and play with toys. Like this train set on a table at tyke height. So adorable. I was taken back as to some of the items that I saw from my child hood, and I'm telling you, it was trip down memory lane for me. Highly recommend Terra Toys. Dolls, kites, blocks, stuffed animals, puppets, books, and so much more. This is a wonderful store for children.

The older my kids get the less interested they are in toys and this makes me really sad because I love hanging out at Terra Toys. This is the absolute best toy store in Austin. They have a very broad selection to choose from that caters to a range of ages. The staff is what makes this toy store perfect though. They aren’t just nice or polite; they wander through the store and interact with kids, demonstrating toys like puppets or magic tricks. They are very knowledgeable and give the impression that they love all matters of toys themselves.

this was my first time visiting austin and i gotta say- it was perfect. the moment you step in you’re transported into the most wonderful place- i dont think the smile left my face the entire time i was exploring. the employees were beyond kind. i purchased the most splendid iced chai to sip on while i shopped and it was just incredible. they had variety and items for all ages! i got my own little monkey family and i would strongly urge you go here for the magic tricks, and the great energy. ?

One of the last true toy stores around. My understanding is it's locally owned. Expect higher prices than Walmart. (Support local people!) I love to buy special gifts here. I also come ever so often to browse. Don't expect the mainstream Disney or Marvel toys. Rather traditional children's toys. Which I appreciate. Honestly, if you want to buy toys a child should appreciate, this is the toy store to be. Just wish I could shop here all the time! Haha

Still the best big toy store around. Plenty of toys, organized by theme which helps if your kid wants something particular. Approachable pricing, so with a little preparation, you too can get your kid in and out, without pain in the pocket book! Kid-friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ahhh, gotta go back!
