Fantastic service. I think those customers who had bad experiences was due to shortage of parts. I fixed multiple vintage pieces so far, and the quality of the repair is excellent. I recommend these people to anyone. Just be patient and you will have your devices back just like you want them to be. Keep the good work guys.

My experience here was amazing! Have been trying to fix my dads 8mm sony handycam for months & there’s no places in corpus like this! The drive was worth it! Very kind and helpful staff, had just what I needed for a great price & my handycam is now fixed completely! Thank you so much for doing what you do!

I took my Kenwood tube amp in for repair. My amp would not even turn on. Telestar gave me an estimate on time and cost. The work was completed ahead of schedule and for the estimate provided. The unit now works great again. I will definitely tell other people about Telstar.

Matt and his wonderful folks restored my vintage Akai 4-track reel-to-reel recorder to mint condition in the time stated and they always went the extra mile to keep me informed on the restoration progress. I'm very happy and so are my clients who appreciate that vintage tape sound in their work.

I have an older Boze system, that I dearly love. The CD player quit, to my dismay. Met with Matt Lehmer, owner of Telstar. Service was done in less 2 weeks. Just in time for Christmas Day. Very pleased with the overall experience. I would use this company again and will recommend to friends and family.

very nice hip and small shop! keeping the hip vibe of what once was Austin and I truly thank the owner for being an honest and caring individual. they work on Boze products. their work is exemplary but keep you updated on repairs and cost. if you can find the uhaul @6610 then you can be let in by a gate access that truly fits the hipster vibe of old Austin. thank you Bo and Matt you guys are so appreciated ?

These guys have had my receiver for over 5 months. Came in to collect, phono knob fell off in my hand and parts of digital display still not working, left it with them to fix, called me another 6 weeks later, went in to collect: charged $630 dollars, connected receiver when I got home, static and distorted sounds coming through speakers that play with clarity on my other receivers. Asked to take unit back in…again. Based on my experiences thus far, I would absolutely not recommend. Will update if I have a better outcome. Whilst waiting 6 months for this unit to be repaired, I took my nakamichi tape player to another small local repair shop who have done an excellent job at a very fair price. Thoroughly dissatisfied.

I would recommend this place to anyone that has older electronics that need repaired. They did a great job repairing my Bose radio.

I have a 1970’s Garrad 990B turntable that needed repair to the automatic function and the platter was making a scraping sound when spinning. They fixed and it is functioning great! They also added to platter belt, re-soldered and cleaned the turntable. They also replaced the cartridge for me. I’m very pleased with their work and highly recommend to anyone needing vintage turntable repairs.

They had my Yamaha power amp for close to a year. After several calls on status over that time I receive a call from Matt saying they can't fix it due to unavailability of parts..... Yeah, close to a year to discover parts aren't available... I'll try another place
