Awesome shop and glad to finally get to visit while I was in Texas. The staff were great and served me some fantastic Liquor while I sat and tried on boots. Glad to say I was able to find a pair I liked and take them home.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing The Jessie in Midnight Ostrich from Tecovas, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The tall gentelmen named Sebastion was extremely helpful. He gave me amazing advice on every exotic boot yall carry in store. He went out of his way and brought out three different sizes of boots I could try on. He even offered me complimentary drinks…outstanding customer service!!!

Max was phenomenal. Great employee made the experience fun and easy. Even offered me complimentary whisky and gave me great advice about what western wear will match my new boots. Went in curious about getting some new boots because I’ve never owned a pair…. But now I got a belt to match and a few nice pearl snap button downs. 10 out of 10. That Texas hospitality is truly felt at Tecovas. Shout out Max and the rest of the team!

My husband and I were very excited to get our first pair of real boots. We had planned a whole date night around it, called the store to see if we could just put our style and sizes to the side to come in and try on, and were 100% ready to be an easy purchase. It was far from easy. Right when we entered we were immediately ignored by the the employees. Eye contact was made but no help was given and I will honestly say they were not busy, they had about 4 other people there and 8 retail associates. I had to go up to a girl to tell her we had boots on hold and wanted to try them on before purchasing. When she came out with the boots, she aggressively slammed my husbands down and just stood there as we tried them on. My husbands felt really tight so he asked if he should size up (again first experience buying boots, so we don't know and from what we thought we knew about Tecovas standard of service, we thought they would be more than helpful in this area), he asked for a size up to see, the girl acted like she walked to the back, but came out .5 seconds later and said that they didn't.... and told him he would be fine in the original size. We ended up taking the boots because we were so excited for them but when we got checked out, the girl that was 'helping' us just left our boxes at the desk and walked away to literally go stand in a corner and mean mug people. A guy in the front tried to help ring us up but it looked like he may have been in training and the two girls were so mean to him, it was sad. We asked for the free socks we received codes for (we had 2 codes, but the girls were not having it) so after an eye roll from the manager she somehow got one code to work even though she made it pretty clear she did not want to do that. After we tried to see if we could get the second pair since we did just spend $620 at their store, but the other gal said no and rudely said "they're only $10 if you just want to buy one." I made it pretty clear we were unsatisfied with the way they were treating us and the girls just ignored everything.We chose Tecovas because we heard amazing things about the overall experience and judging from some of the other reviews I've seen that are oddly close to our experience, the Domain location does not follow suit. Luckily we hopped on the phone with the SoCo location and they let us come in about 30min before closing to size us to make sure we really loved the boots. I will say that that specific location is the only reason we kept our boots. They were amazing and attentive from the start. They also informed my husband they carry wide sizes, which was never brought up by the gal at the domain location and exactly what my husband was asking for when we were there since they felt super tight on the width of his feet.All in all, skip the Domain location if you don't want to be treated like a peasant (especially if you're not a 'specific' looking customer). Go straight to the SoCo location. And Tecovas, I truly hope you guys start doing better at hiring retail associates. It doesn't matter if they were having a hard day, they know what they are selling and what their job is, they chose that line of work, and they should be aiming to give EVERY customer good customer service considering people aren't just in there to buy a $25 pair of shoes. Please ensure the two girls working at the Domain location at 6:00pm on 12/13 are properly trained and know how to be kind to all people.Also, the SoCo location stated they aren't even allowed to sell the socks, so that was a nice touch lol. Do better!!!

Go to the south congress location and save your time. the customer service here is TERRIBLE. For how expensive these boots are, you think they'd be nicer. AVOID!!!

Got my first pair of cowboy boots here. Ended getting a small rip in the leather on the inside of the boot after the first week. Sophie at the front was amazing and replaced it with a brand new pair. Really thankful for y’all.
