Unfortunately this number is now taken over by TLK finances - and Tina , not Mimi's nephew as her website states. Mimi was the best so I trusted her Recomnedation. Now it's the most fake unorganized and unprofessional experience of my life. Im waiting to file or just get my documents back at this point Not answering calls , sending delayed texts and acting confused and will not make an appointment with me for a month now to file or get my file of documents back. When I go , no one is is in the office. I've expressed urgency since if I owe money they are costing me interest. There has been no answer to this or when to come in. Lots of stall tactics "the accountant is in vacation till Monday" that was weeks ago.

The person in Tax by Mimi who did our taxes was named Gerald Winters and we have since learned that he defrauded many people and then just vanished. When we approached Mimi for help we were told that even though she had assigned us to Gerald, his work was not her responsibility and we were on our own. It is untrue that she never heard of us. We have since launched and effort to have Gerald Winters' CPA license revoked. This would have been a completely different story if Mimi had taken responsibility and helped us fix the huge mess that a person who worked in her office created. If you own a business and someone who works for you causes harm, you are at least partially responsible.

i would leave ZERO stars if I could. I was told she charges before giving an estimate which is so stupid if you don't even know how much I'll be getting back. Was told to "save my money" and go somewhere else. Bad service! How are you going to charge me before even looking into my file and not knowing how much my refund would be?? What if I'm only getting $600 back and you charge me $400 upfront! I'd be losing money if anything. I was told that she is good and was told by someone close to me and based off the reviews it seemed that way but for some odd reason she doesn't want to do mines. NEXT! Do Better Mimi.

This was our second year doing our taxes with Mimi. Previously, we've tried other tax prep services as well as doing them on our own. Never again. We will be coming to Mimi for all of our tax services. She is wonderful. First of all, so accommodating. Mimi made time in her schedule to see us on a Sunday morning. Also, she's so fast. We were done within an hour. As for service, I would give more than 5 stars if possible. As she was working through our returns, she gave super helpful advice and suggestions. Her input is going to help us save money over the next year. And finally, her pricing was more than reasonable. We are so glad that we've found Mimi. Totally a hidden gem.

My wife had been doing our taxes for years without issue. Then in 2016, we started having to pay the IRS every time we filed. We needed help. My wife found Ms. Mimi through Google and I am so grateful she did. For 3 years, Ms. Mimi has helped us. We made the small changes she recommended and that helped us get to a place where we no longer owe the IRS, they owe us.Ms. Mimi is our go to for taxes and we value her guidance. We will continue to keep our yearly visits to her office as long as she is willing to see us. Thank you Ms. Mimi! See you next year!
