Second time at Tara’s salon and both times it felt like such a welcoming space to be in. She has some Booth rentals available if you contact Miss Tara! I took some pictures

Their owner TARA is rude and racist. I was waiting on my stylist while she ate lunch, watching TV in her suite while waiting. The owner opened the stylist’s door and told me i needed to wait in my car. But there was a salon full of other people who were not told to do the same. It was very embarrassing and confusing.

Maria is the best. She is patient and easy going. My daughters and I have been getting our hair cared for by her for 10 years.

I went in to get my hair highlighted, balayage style. I asked for ash highlights. I'm tan with dark hair and have a fear of orange highlights. I sent one image ahead, via text, for color reference. When I got to the salon I gave Carmen multiple photos of what I was looking for, some for color, others for highlight arrangement. I ended up with, I don't know even know, I'm tan and now my skin tone looks pink/red against the palate of my hair. I also have some striping. The highlights are so stark on some parts of my head that it looks like I have stripes. Initially, I told her it was too light and she told me it wasn't, that it was beautiful. My mom was with me and she loved the color so much, she said the same. I thought for a minute, that maybe I was just in shock because I hadn't had highlights in quite awhile. Well, I waited 3 weeks to try and see if I could get used to it, but I can't. I won't even wear my hair down. It's not complimentary to my skin. It reminds me of the 80s frosted white blond hair. I reached out to Carmen to let her know and she said she would see me to fix it, give me something I like more, but at an additional charge. I paid $280 + $56 tip and don't think I should have to pay additional money for her to tone it down or throw in some lowlights. When did service related industries/people stop servicing their customers? No one wants to be of service anymore. It's all about their premium costs and time. I want to go back to when getting a service from someone actually meant something.

I go here to get lashes done by Aesha. She has her space upstairs. She does an awesome job! Her prices are reasonable, she uses great quality products, and takes the time necessary to give you lashes you'll love.

I went to this Salon to get my eyebrows threaded and Henna for my Birthday. I ended up getting my eyelashes done while there, I was told it would be a 45 minute service which sounded amazing, NOPE! I was there for 2 hour only to get out of the chair with my eyes stuck together! After the cosmetologist pried open my eyes that had been taped every way you could possibly imagine, I looked in the mirror at the sparsest eyelashes ever! I told her that one eye was way fuller than the other. Of course she disagreed. While looking in the mirror I noticed that I couldn't even look to the left or the right without the lashes scratching my eyes!. The lashes had been placed directly on my base instead of a mm away! I went home horrified and $120 short on cash. I literally had to go home and peel the lashes off the inside of my eyelid! Talk about painful. I woke up the next day unable to go to work because my eyes were swollen. My boyfriend went back to the shop and thankfully my $120 dollars was returned. I developed a sty on my eye and when I called back to inform Tara of the development she informed me that this salon does not do eyelash extensions! WHAT? She then hung up with me saying she was busy and would call back. After she called back she informed me that she remembered me coming in for my eyelashes, to put baby oil on them and I should be fine. WOW Thanks, don't ever let these people near your eyes!!!
