Very nice shop- was able to try on a couple suits and walk out with a cute Jolyn suit in a newer print that I was quite pleased with.
Might be worth noting that their selection is wider than what they have available on the website: so if you're interested in a particular brand...might be worth calling and seeing if they stock it- in my case they did! And they were super nice on the phone too!

Sold me a $50 pair of goggles and said they would be a good fit, when I went to use them they filled with water and were not a proper fit. Went to return and the guy working told me they wouldn't take anything back used in water.... can't know if they work unless you test them, right? I'll never shop here again and the service was terrible.

I was there right at opening on 10/27 to find a swim parka for my 5 year old . There were a few by the front door and I asked the guy at the front desk if they had any for kids because most of them seemed too large . He responded from 20 feet away that that’s all they had . Okay . I started reviewing the sizes they had and asked him what one meant . He replied he didn’t know and still made no effort to walk my way or ask me more about what I needed. FineI’ll spend my 100 dollars at your competition

My first awareness and interaction with the SwimFreak team began with an on-line search for a specific set of Speedo goggles - and, ended with my intent to embrace "Texas' Favorite Swim Shop," as our favorite swim store for two reasons: 1) The very responsive team, not only fulfilled my request for multiple pairs of these 'hard to find' goggles, but very graciously added a 'bonus' pair to my order knowing how much I like the particular model; and,2) I learned that, besides their two original stores in the San Antonio-area, SwimFreak also have a full-service shop in Austin which is very convenient to where we have a 2nd home and our children/grandchild reside :-).SwimFreak is now our primary "go-to" for on-line/remote orders to support our open water swimming while at home on Kaua'i; and, in-store shopping for our pool and fresh water swimming while in Austin :-). Thanks greatly SwimFreak, you rock!!

This place is great! They have 3 stores and if they can't get an item from one of their other locations they can order it for you. Their staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. If you need anything swim check them out!

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Went in for my first time because I'm taking a swimming (conditioning) class for the first time and the worker there helped me get everything I needed without pushing excessive salesman jargon.

Really weird and awkward service. When I asked if they carried my size a girl who worked there said, “I’ve never ordered a size that big” (I’m at 38) lol. Someone walked out while I was here because the employees were taking too long and they laughed at them as they were leaving. Then they told the other people in the dressing room that they left because of them. I asked when they would get more sizes for the style I liked and she said probably very soon and so I asked if they could order one in so I could know when I could come pick it up. They said that would work so I asked if that one doesn’t fit if I could exchange it and the response was “ummmmm no.” Weird stuff lol
