Requested room type was not honored. I spoke to a a hotel agent 3 days prior to our arrival and requested a double queen room, which she said they can do w/o any issues. Once we arrive we find out they only have a king room, we did not have an option due to how late in the night it was and decide to make it work. Once we get to the room, we realize that it’s a full/queen bed and not a king. The sofa bed is only a twin sofa as well.
Lack of communication on the hotels part….this could have been fully avoided if they had made a simple phone call to me, informing us of the room situation.
Management did not have any regard of the situation when the fd agent called them.
The hotel is seriously worn out and needs immediate attentions and a renovation.
We were also placed on the 4th floor where the entire floor smelled of cooking/odors.
Very disappointed!

Very nice staff and service, for the price it’s great value. Has gym and swimming pools. Would love to stay again.
Safety: Good neighbourhood, safe place
Food & drinks: Free breakfast everyday, including coffee, milk, soft drink and fruit. Great value.

The room was functional and served our needs for the stay. It had a stove and fridge, which is what we wanted. Breakfast was simple but good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff dropped the ball, with just the bare minimum done with regard to cleaning the room. Bedding was not changed for 2 weeks and bath tub was not cleaned for the same period. Sometimes they would just flush the toilet without cleaning and take out the trash. I was present for the cleaning on all days and this is what I witnessed first hand. When you ask if they are going to do something, they say ok and leave. Other than that, it was in a good location for us and everything else worked fine, especially the front end staff.

We booked our reservation online, quick and easy process. Checked in around 4 only for our room to not be ready. Not to worry Ashton, at the front desk, immediately took action and fixed it right up! He offered quick and easy solutions to something that was uncontrollable. He was always very nice and made sure that we were taken care of, even just walking past the desk on our way in and out. Service here was awesome! Kudos to Ashton for being awesome! this man deserves a raise.

I booked our room online. Hotel looked newer and in a nice area. Front desk lady was very friendly. Upon entering our room…it was 78 degrees and smelled like pure dog pee. I turned down the ac in hopes that the room was just hot and musky. Honestly I was tired from traveling all day and didn’t want the hassle of moving everything. But when I returned from dinner, you could smell the dog pee in the hall and the room had only cooled to 74. They did change the room after I requested it but the smell was on everything even after we moved. The pool was out of order and we scheduled our leave at 6 as breakfast was being served but it wasn’t ready, even though there was a man sitting at a table with an empty plate. The hotel was nice and modern but both rooms had a worn out look, old carpet, hair grease on the headboard and just overall super used look and smell.
Rooms: Furniture was worn out. Couches were stained and cushions were flat. Carpet was old, stained and felt dirty. Bare minimum amenities in rooms.

Platinum member. I don't know if it's worth mentioning because it doesn't seem to mean anything. I
was not given the choice of points or a snack. Then come to find out they do not have any diet options on their soda machine so I'm doubly screwed.
No diet soda options the whole week. No beer/wine options during the social time... Or they have a non-present person supposed to be serving.
This was an unfortunate dud of a stay compared to last week.

Pretty impressed with this Staybridge Suites - have not stayed with this specific chain before but after this experience, will look out for more Staybridge Suites on future travels. My group was lucky enough to be upgraded to a 2 bd/2 bath suite and it was NICE. My only critique is the lack of a kitchen table and chairs. Having a stove and moderate size refrigerator were benefits but if I'm going to cook or heat anything up, I need a place to sit down. The small living room couch for 2 people was not enough seating for our group.
Other than that, we had a great experience staying here. Breakfast spread was pretty good - yogurts, fruit, cheeses, hot foods, breads, etc. Front desk service was attentive - I had a minor issue checking in and that was remedied quickly. I also had a check out billing issue and that was addressed promptly.
The property throughout - rooms, hallways, breakfast area - were maintained well and clean.

Really nice place, back this year still really awesome. We have stayed here now 3 our 4 times we really love how clean it is and the location is great.

I am very upset day one on check-in. My room was not ready several times even after I left and came back the room still was not ready. I had a 16hour drive and was ready to lay down. After that money was taken off my card after I already payed for my room and $50 hold. I asked for my card to be taken off file after everything that happened on Friday. Saturday upon my awakening money was taken off my card again, which should not have happened because I asked you to take the card off file and was told it was. That was the money that I was using to take my kids to the waterpark and to several other places while we were in Texas, we was unable to do any because all the money was taken off my card. I still have not received my money back yet. Also, my coach bag was taken out of the room. I called for it and was sending someone to get it. I was told it was not in there.

Where do I start the hotel front desk; was very rude and incompetent!!! My company is a diamond elite ! I stay in a lot of Austin IHG hotel this is by far just wow… she said her name was Carla very rude . Stated that my name was not on the reservation. It was a Sunday I had to reach out to my corporate staff on there off day with there family, because she didn’t even double check or go the extra mile to see if my name was a add on which in fact it was … getting here no customer service skills at all.. I worked in the Hospitality business as a director of engineering this behavior is unacceptable. I will be advising my company to steer clear from this property… we have many Technician that stay on IHG properties… we will not be using this property again … be warned and good luck if you don’t read reviews..

This was Central located for my business very close proximity to restaurants. Suite agréable et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner à améliorer au niveau buffet mais reste dans un standard correcte sans plus. Très bon rapport qualité prix.Rooms: Spacieuces et bien équipées.Walkability: Très bon accès et facile à trouver.
