Great vets and staff! It took a long time for us to find a vet clinic we were happy with (for 10 years we drove to San Antonio for vet care). Finally found Star of Texas--vets and staff are excellent and provide terrific advice on keeping our three dogs healthy and happy.

We started taking our pups to Star of Texas a little over a year ago when we realized our vet at the time was not versed in senior dog care. After searching high and low and all over the internet we found Dr. Samon and his team. At different times, each vet there has guided us with taking care of our three super senior pups during their final chapter as we know it can be stressful and scary. We are extremely grateful for them (Dr. Samon, Dr. A, Dr. Sabo and Dr. McCoy) as they all go above and beyond with their guidance, expertise, and compassion. The techs and team are always so welcoming as well, and Natalie and Ashleigh -the best!
Thank you for taking care of my furry senior crew (Max, Maddy, Chico, and Honey).

Star of Texas Vet has a very friendly, highly competent, professional staff that genuinely cares for my pets. I have cats and dogs and they care for all of them with kindness and humor. They always go the extra mile to help with unusual situations and work to come up with treatments that are effective and work with your family's circumstances. Plus, I love the setting and each treatment room is comfortable and comforting to my pets. No hidden costs and, comparatively speaking, fair pricing. I highly recommend!

Love that they utilize a Fear Free approach to care. During my first visit they let my dog acclimate to the environment and in new time he was playing with his toys, cuddling with the team members, and taking treats.

Everyone at Star of Texas Veterinary Hospital is kind and helpful. Dr. Sabo in particular has offered superior service to my elderly cat and me. She is so kind and gentle with my nervous cat and takes the time to answer all of my questions.

Awesome Vet! All staff are very friendly and professional. I have been bringing my dog since 8 week old and he is always happy to be here and that is in part due to staff patience and handling. I like that the Doctors have time to answer questions in a very detail way so I can make a better inform decision.

I trust the doctors, techs and staff. Trust is all important. Everyone is friendly and customer oriented both to people and pets. They're very good with pet anxiety. Genuine care towards clients/pets

Everyone was patient with my questions for my dog.
UPDATE: with a good eye, Dr. Sabo recognized a cancerous mass (Mast Cell Tumor) and recommended surgery. They were very affordable, helpful, and definitely prolonged his life with this surgery.
UPDATE again: my dog had an emergency was totally not himself and I genuinely believe they saved his life. I could tell after the hospital stay that he was cared for by the staff and he did not seem afraid or anxious like he normally is at a vet.
