Sadly there are not enough boutiques for women’s designer clothing in Austin, let alone for fashion conscious women over 40! That’s not true here. You not only find a plethora of designers from Italy to Japan you can get great deals when they have their 50-75-90% sales which are not to be missed.

One of the best dress shopping experiences ever! An amazingly well curated collection of pieces that span from more conservative looks to bright & popping colors. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Spring Frost has the most unique selection of clothing and accessories in Austin! It’s my go-to place for denim (they often have brands like Frame, Mother, etc) and dressy occasions. It’s full cutting edge fashion designers you can’t find anywhere else in town, most of which is at a discount. Because of that, they have both great deals and phenomenally unique pieces. I’ve chatted with their buyer about how they periodically go to shows in New York to scout new brands, and the variety in their shop shows. My favorite piece I’ve purchased from them is a silk dress covered in photographs of 1960s celebs. Spring and co always help pull pieces when I’m looking for something specific — like the personal shopper of my dreams. They now have in-house alterations too! If you love fashion and wish there was an alternative one-stop-shop to a big department store, Spring Frost is it!

Cute stuff/weird pricing. I thought the store was upscale resell so I was confused at the pricing and that everything had original tags. Turns out the store sells a mix of last seasons [new] styles and new... So while there and searching the labels to understand what was going on I was shocked to see the price differences. I love to support a local business and yet, not enough to pay $200+ more than what it's going for on Nordstrom. The staff are great, but the pricing is bonkers. I tried on a ballgown that was being sold for $695 there that was on sale online for $300 (original price from the designer $550) some jeans (that retail new for $130 currently on sale by the designer for $30) that were for sale at Spring Frost for $140, and a shirt that was marked $192 (that the designer and other outlets sell new/in season for $170 that I could have purchased online/on sale $90 that same day). I've been struggling with the decision to post this because it is a service to have local store easily accessible and supporting locals but have ultimately decided it's not worth it for those prices. Bought a dress anyways because everything was very cute and they were helpful but hope the owner sees this and rethinks their pricing structure: I'm willing to pay more to support local knowing you have rent or a mortgage and staff to pay but I also know you bought wholesale and discount for "last season". Spring, your store is egregiously overpriced.

All of my best outfits come from Spring Frost, not just because they have a quality selection but because they help me put the look together. I now live an hour away but make the trek every few months to update my wardrobe. I’ve been a customer for about 7 years now, and counting. Love this gem of a boutique!

Excellent boutique--not stuffy or snooty, but with good, quality clothes and shoes, plus accessories at a reasonable price range. The owner, Spring, and staff (Aiyesha, Julia, everyone) make you feel welcome and tended to without smothering, and they are geniuses at suggesting colors and styles that will suit you. I am SO over shopping, but I love this place; they make it easy and dare I say fun. Like having your own personal shoppers who get you--and are honest: As I stood at the register ready to buy a pair of silver heels (and did I mention they carry plenty of shoes in my hard-to-find size?), Spring suggested a rose-gold color instead that she thought might suit my wardrobe and coloring better, then led me around the store so we could see which went best with the most colors I might have in my closet. I switched and was thrilled--and then they had the damn things altered so the straps fit my feet perfectly! Dreamy place to shop, for real.

Everytime I have a special occasion to dress for, I come to Spring Frost. The clothes are always interesting, beautiful, and well-made, but what makes this place stand out is the service. Everyone I ever interacted with here is knowledgeable and helpful. I usually just let them pick everything out and go with their recommendations, which is not my usual preference! Only at Spring Frost do I feel like I can completely trust their judgment and end up with something amazing!

Some of these items are not reduced enough. They are very nice however it feels like they need to be clear about the discount. Many items can be found elsewhere for less. As much as they try it is a bit misleading.

Wow!! I loved this place so much. Such great and eclectic pieces for all body types. Aisha (sp?) was the kindest & most helpful person I’ve come across in retail in a long while!! What a gem & so many amazing suggestions.I didn’t find the dress I loved for the occasion but I will certainly be back! These people have amazing selection and know how to treat clients.

Wow. I swung by here for the first time today after living in Austin for 20 years. I was going to grab a few things before I left on vacation. Man, the service here was impeccable. She looked up the weather for where I was going and Spring started pulling items and bringing them to me. She was great! I bought way more than I needed, but I was just so happy to be treated that well. I am not a big shopper, in fact, I don’t like it at all. If I experienced this service at other places - I’d probably shop more! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. And thank you for staying late to help me!
