overpriced for what i was asking for so i took it to another shop on Lamar.the staffed seemed to try and take advantage of me, either way it was a bad experience.

Outstanding service. I got my transmission rebuilt here, I have waited two years to write this review. So for two years now, the transmission re-built on my 2008 Ford pick-up runs like as if it was new from the factory. Not to mention that they gave me a great deal on the job. Well done guys, I really can’t thank y’all enough, because at that time I was getting ready to junk my truck after the transmission went and I had little money to get a new one. Thank you.

THEY TORE OUR ALTERNATOR BELT!! I went in to have my transmission checked due to slight slippage. When we got there the mechanic took our car for a "test drive" and we waited in the office. A few moments later another mechanic comes in and asks about previous work we've had done to the car. We haven't had any work done in at least 4 months. Then he proceeded on by taking us to the car and telling us there is no problem with the transmission but it just so happens that our alternator belt is torn into 2 pieces and shredded to the point where it shouldn't be driveable. It didn't make any sense since we have been driving the car with absolutely no alternator problems. Right away we suspected them of breaking the belt in order to still profit off of us. Then they told us it can't be driven or it will overheat right away. They were wanting to charge $150 to replace this belt that costs $30. They said $120 for labor for 1 hour although it takes less than 30 minutes to fix! We took our chances and drove down the road to o reilly's and fixed it ourselves. These people are unbelievable I am never going to these local shops again!

This place is Horrible . I went in to get my transmission scanned to see if I need a fluid flush. 10 min after the mechanic took my keys my serpentine belt was cut. And he said it would cost 150 to replace. So he basically cut the belt so he can make a sale. The car was fine untill I arrived at snap transmission. Now all the lights are on. I asked him why he cut it and he had no answers but how he thought it was strange how it messed up as soon as he drove it and that I'm lucky to be there. What a joke of a shop!! super unethical!!!!

Honest diagnosis, not afraid to tell you what's wrong and what will have to be done. Had both our cars fixed here and they are still kicking like new even for being older vehicles.
